Check the exercises in groups.T: Boys and girls, today we are going to discuss healthy eating. As usual, lets do the exercises on the paper. (给3分钟做,然后讨论结果) T: OK, please check your answers in groups.【设计意图】小组合作完成导学练习,展示自己作业,相互交流学习体会。有利于学生尽快进入英语学习的状态。2. Introduction对话导入新课 Group1:T: We all now we should try our best to keep healthy, but do you know how to keep healthy? S1:We can do more exercise. T: How often do you exercise? S1: Every day. T: Ok, is he healthy? Ss:Yes.Group2: S2:We should have enough sleep. T: Yes ,thats a good idea. Do you agree with me? Ss:yes. T: How long do you sleep every day? S2: For about 7 hours.Group3: S3: We should have healthy eating T: Ok, but do you know how to eat healthily? S3: We should eat more vegetables and less meat. T: Good. But why?【设计意图】由话题讨论展开,自然引入新课学习二、合作探究,自主学习Step 2: Presentation T: Lets read the form about healthy eating on page 71. (学生自学,标注生词,老师行间走动,个别辅导)呈现单词:calories Vitamins (领读,学生读)【设计意图】让学生通过图表的阅读理解单词以及食品知识;在语境中结合关键词讨论自己的饮食习惯,有利于激发学生兴趣。教师引导、学生合作探究。Step 3: Practice(就表格内容展开问答,巩固所学生词)How many calories are there in one glass of orange juice? What vitamin is there in one glass of orange juice? Which kind of drink/fruit/meat has the most calories/vitamins? Which is the best drink/fruit? Are vegetables healthy? Why? What should we eat more to keep fit and stay healthy? Why? What do you usually eat for dinner? Is your diet healthy? Why or why not? Do you want to change your diet? Why?【设计意图】让学生通过问答活动进一步巩固并运用单词。Step 4: ActivitiesActivity 1:T: Before the class, you have designed a diet for yourself. Please show it to your partner and discuss how healthy the food you like. (小组交流个人食谱,讨论食物的calories and vitamins.用本单元学过的知识发表自己的见解)交流示例:T: S5, why do you choose hamburger for breakfast? S5: Because I like hamburger and it can give me lots of energy. T: But I think it will give you too much energy. I don t think hamburger is a healthy food. S5: Maybe you are right. I will choose something else for breakfast. T: I think you can try noodles or bread. S5: I dont like noodles. I will try bread.【设计意图】各小组讨论交流,了解别人的饮食习惯和生活方式,有利于增进了解,取长补短。小组报告,这样有利于调动学生的积极性,保障讨论的效果Activity 2:展示老师拟定的食谱:Breakfast: A glass of milk, pieces of bread and an egg Between breakfast and lunch: a banana Lunch: Fish, Tomatoes, Rice and Vegetables Between lunch and dinner: an apple Dinner: Noodles, vegetables Drinks: Water or green tea【设计意图】让学生发表见解,激发学生的好奇心;巧妙地引导学生认知并认可健康的生活方式。T: What do you think of the diet?(老师说明自己的设计意图:这是老师设计的健康食谱,而光说健康不行,还要说说为什么健康呢?比如早餐,早餐是一天中最重要的一顿饭,需要较多的热量和营养来维持我们一上午的学习和生活。所以老师选择了一杯牛奶、一个鸡蛋和几片面包来提供早晨所需要的能量。早饭和中饭之间,老师又选择了热量最高的香蕉来补充能氮。)Activity 3:(让学生再次修改自己的食谱,并做好向别人推荐的准备)【设计意图】采用同学老师建议的方式让学生更加理解习惯的重要,合作探究的形式进行,有利于降低难度, 培养合作精神。三、学习文章,撰写报告Step 5: ProductionT: We have designed diet for healthy eating. would you like to show it to others and make them healthier? Ss: sure!T: how can you make others believe in you? I advise you to write an article to state your ideas. OK?Ss: ok.T: Here is an article about Millies diet and lifestyle. please read the article. You can refer to it.Question:T: What does Millie eat for breakfast?S: She has some bread and an egg. She drinks a glass of orange juice.知识点提示:without doing sth. I can answer the question without looking at the book.【设计意图】写作过程中对学生适当指导,有利于建立师生之间的信任,既指导了学习又沟通的情感,有句话说得好“亲其师信其道”。任务1:学生写作,时间20分钟。任务2:展示交流,再次修改。【设计意图】相互修改文章能够取长补短,发挥“学帮带”的作用。任务3:写作示例展示讨论:Sample writing My name is Anna. I am 13 years old. I am a student in Grade 7. I like to play tennis and I walk to school every day. I am strong and have lots of energy. I think I need about 2,100 calories every day. For breakfast, I usually eat a piece of bread and some eggs and I drink a cup of milk. This gives me about 400 calories to start the day. I often have a big bowl of soup with noodles and chicken and also a banana for lunch. I really love noodles. This meal gives me energy for the afternoon and for a game of tennis after school. For dinner, I always have rice, meat and vegetables. I do not like hamburgers and Coke because they are very high in fat and sugar. I never eat chocolate, but sometimes I have cake or ice cream. At dinner, I take in about 750 calories. Later in the evening, I often have a snack. That means I eat about 2,100 calories every day.
