Teaching plan:本单元的中心话题是环境保护,这也是近年来国际社会和我国一直都在关注的热门话题,那么为了引起广大中学生的共鸣,孩子们觉得环境问题就在他们身边,离他们并不遥远,教材在安排上从同学们非常喜欢的可爱的动物入手,可谓独具匠心。学生通过对本单元的学习,应该能够从内心深处发出一种呼喊,即:拯救动物!拯救地球!拯救全世界!1.Aims of teaching:Aims of abilitiesAsk students to grasp how to debate and how to make useful things with “recycled” material.Aims of knowledgeI agree with you/disagreewith you I feel that Aims of teaching and leaning methods: Lead the students by using the language while doing a real thing as much as possible Enable the students to teach themselvesAims of moral and attitudes: Make the students cooperate with each other According to what they learned they can do something for protecting the invironment.2.Important points:Learn to interview sb and share questions.3.Difficult points:Answer these questions.4.Properties:tape-recorder5.Students preparation:Collect information about debating and make useful things with “recycle” material. Teaching procedures:Step 1: GreetingsStep 2 : Warming up T: OK, today lets go on learning Unit 15 We are trying to save the manatees ! But why we must try to save the manatees ? Because they are endangered . How are we trying to save the manatees ? Some students think animals should live in the zoos. Other students think animals shouldnt live in the zoos.Step3. Group work. Hve a debating : Animals should live in the zoos. (SideA) Animals shouldnt live in the zoos. (Side B)SideA Group 1 Group3Side B Group 2 Group4Group 2 and group4 are winners .Step4. Listening and reading.Some students think animals should live in the zoo, and some students dont think so. But what can we do for this? We must protect animals and protect environment.There is an unusual woman in the USA, who won an award from the “Help save our planet society” and the president Jackson said she is an inspiration to us all. It is very important for us to protect the environment. We should课后反思:本课教学难点不易突破,因此我对教材进行了整合和调整,通过环保保护动物这一主题对本单元前几课时内容进行了简单串线,进而提出两个主要议题:Animals should live in the zoos. (SideA) Animals shouldnt live in the zoos. (Side B)利用同学们好奇心强并急于表达自己观点的契机组织了一场课堂辩论赛,并让同学们事先回家组织材料,要让自己的论点理论依据充足,事实道理充分。通过将近10分钟的辩论,学生们基本都以以新带旧的方式对于从初一到初三所学过的所有关于保护环境的话题进行了系统的梳理。同时对于近年来国际社会和我国一直都在关注的热门话题,起到了引起广大中学生共鸣的目的,让孩子们觉得环境问题就在他们身边,离他们并不遥远,学生通过热情洋溢的辩论,能够从内心深处发出一种呼喊,即:拯救动物!保护地球!我在设计教学过程时,针对本课重点难点相对比较集中的客观情况,采取由浅入深、由面及点的操练方式,在足够量语言输入的基础上,完成所设计的任务,即进行两一组的信息交换练习和小协作练习,再延伸到大写作练习。让学生从内心深处懂得环保可以从我们身边的小事做起。为了让同学们对课文的深层次含义理解透彻,我预留了学生准备这项作业,即回家用废旧物品制作实物,变废为宝,为此我
