Greeting.2.Show the title of this Unit1.Greeting How are you today?What do you often do on weekends?2.Explain the meaning of this title“How was your shool trip?”3.Tell the students what will we learn in this lesson.Presentation(10 mins)1. Describe the things people often do according to the pictures given.2. Distinguish the differences between the simple present tense and the simple past tense.3. Remember the five ways of simple past forms.1. Show different pictures,ask the students what the people in the pictures often do.2. Change another question“What did they do?”3. Ask the students to summary the differences between the simple present tense and the simple past tense.4. Tell the two features of simple past tense sentences.5. Teach the students the five ways of simple past forms.Check(5 mins)1.Turn the verbs given to the past forms.2.Express what people did yesterday according to the key phrases given.3.Read aloud the time markers for past tense and put them down.1.show some verbs(动词)to the students,let them turn the verbs to the past forms.2.Show pictures and ask the students“What did he/she/they do yesterday?”3.Plus the time markers for past tense behind,and read them together.Presentation(3 mins) Remember the new words and phrases in this Unit.Teach the new words and phrases in this Unit.Drill(10mins) 1.Listen to the tape and finish the exercises.2.Show the answers they have heard. 3.Take notes if it needed. 1.Let the students do the llistening exercises in their books.2.
