Give students a picture of Shanghai, ask them to guess where the teacher went last year,2. Give the students the sentence“I went to Shanghai last year”that means “I have been to Shanghai.”3. Ask students to guess the meaning of “have been to ”And if they really dont know the meaning, tell them”某人去过某地(现在人已经回来了)”,then give them some other pictures of Shanghai and learn the sentence structure “Sb have/has been to ”together.4. Give students some other pictures of museums and ask one to two students “Have you ever been to ” and ask them to try to answer “Yes, I have./ No, I havent.” and learn key vocabulary about several kinds of museums” space museum, history museum, water park, zoo, amusement park” and so on.Step 2 PracticeGet students to work in pairs to practice the conversation by using the structure in 1C: A: lets go somewhere different today.B: OK. Where do you want to go?A: Have you ever been to the space museum?B: No, I havent. How about you?A: Step 3 Pre-listening1. Section A 1a T: OK. Now open your books on Page 65. In Part 1a, 6 places are given. Please read the names of these places. (Teacher writes the names on the blackboard.) Which of these places would you like to visit? Rank them from 1 to 5, Ask one to two students to answer.S 1: Amusement park _, water park _, zoo _ aquarium _ space museum _.S 2: Space museum _, aquarium _, zoo _, water park _, amusement park _Step 4 ListeningListen and check the boxes.
