Its our honor to have so many teachers attend our opening class. Lets give them big hands (The teacher clap hands and students follow).T: In our daily life we communicate with others in many ways. For example, we say “Hi” to greet someone. How did you greet the other teachers just now.Ss: We clap hands.T: Thats right. All the teachers receive your warm welcome although you said nothing. Thats the magic of body language!T: Do you know the meaning of different kinds of body language? Lets play a guessing game.Ask the Ss to guess the meaning of the body language in the pictures.(they means victory, I love you, surprised and shy)II Fast Reading1. Pre-readingAsk the Ss to think about the following question before reading: Do people from different parts of the world use the same body language?2.
