Greet the Students as usualStep 2 Lead- in and 1a1. Ask the students “How do you usually spend your weekend?” and then they can answer with these phrases. As the following:go out, stay at home, go to the movie, climb the mountains, do homework, play computer games, go shopping, go to the library, watch TV, play basketball with friends, play chess with your daughter, study for a test2. Show some pictures and ask the students.Simple Present Tense- What do you usually do on weekends? -I usually climb the mountains on weekends.-I usually pick strawberries on weekends.-What does your father do on weekends?-He milks a cow on weekends.-He takes photos on weekends.-He go fishing.-What does your daughter usually do on weekends? -She usually feed chickens.-She usually ride a horse.Simple Past Tense- What did you do last weekend (上周末)?- I climbed the mountains.-I picked strawberries.-What did your father do last weekend?-He milked a cow.-He took photos.-He went fishing.-What did your daughter do last weekend? - She fed chickens.-She rode a horse.3. Finish the task in 1a.4. 让学生尝试写出1a 中动词的原形。Step 31b-1c1. Ask the students to listen to the tape to guess-where did Carol go on her school trip?2. I saw quite a lot.quiet a lot 相当多+of+可数或不可数, 也可以单独使用。quite a little 相当多+不可数名词quite a few 相当多+可数名词e.g. 我们喝了不少酒。 We drank quite a lot of wine. 我看到了相当多的奶牛。 I saw quite a lot of cows. 夏天我经常打网球。 I play tennis quite a lot in the summer. 不少学生迟到了。 Quite a few students were late. Did Carol take any photos?take与photo, picture等词搭配时,表示“拍摄,摄影”。表示“拍摄某物或人”,就要在短语后面接介词“of”引入所拍摄的对象。e.g. The girl likes to take photos of herself with her cell phone. It was so much fun. fun表示“有趣的事情”,为不可数名词。e.g. Look, Peter. The children are having so much fun. 4 Lucky you!
