First I want to ask some students about some questions.What are you doing now?What is your teacher doing now?What is your friend doing now?And please pay attention to the structure learned in Unit 6,“am/is/are+v-ing”. Its very important. This class I bring you some interesting pictures. Do you want to see them? Teacher: Now look at these pictures please. Read after the teacher. Learn these new words.环节说明:通过复习上个单元所学习的现在进行时和谈论天气导入课题和新单词,很自然地做好了单元之间话题的衔接,激发了学生说英语的热情。Step 2完成教材1a1c的任务1.认真观察la的图片,完成1a的任务。(1分钟)Teacher: Look at the pictures on Page 37 in your book. They are five photos of different cities in the world. Hows the weather in picture a? Yes, its raining. And there is another way of asking about the weather. Thats “What is the weather like?” For example, whats the weather like in picture b? Yes, its sunny. Now, look at the list of the words and match each word with one of the cities in the picture, please. Write the letter of each city next to one of the words.2.认真听录音,完成1b的任务。(1分钟)Teacher: Do you know the names of these five famous cities? Look at the list of the names and read after me: Beijing, Moscow, Toronto, Boston and Shanghai As you see, its sunny in Beijing. What about other cities? Lets listen to the conversations about these cities. The boy is talking on the phone. The woman is cooking. The girl is watching TV. The man with glasses is playing basketball. Well done! Lets listen to the conversation and number the pictures.2.再听一遍录音,完成2b的任务。(2分钟)Teacher: Good, we have finished the first task. But who does these activities?
