Where did you go on vacation? I went to New York City. Did you go out with anyone ? No. No one was here, Everyone was on vacation.2、能力目标:能运用所学知识询问别人的旅游经历;听懂相关话题的对话;能正确运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。3、情感目标:能够谈论自己的旅游经历,享受生活的乐趣。二 、教学重、难点:能正确运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。三、教学方法:“五步、双重教学法”四、教具准备:课文录音 多媒体使用:无五、教学过程:(一)复习旧知Greetings and then ask and answer questions like this :T:-What did you do on summer vacation?S:-I stayed at home. When students answer the question , write down their names and the phrases on the blackboard, then ask students to read the phrases together.(二)新课导学This time , let students look at the blackboard and ask and answer questions like this: S1:-What did Ma Long do on vacation? S2:- He went to the summer camp. S1:-Where did he go on vacation? S2:-He went to the mountains.(三)自学新知1. Finish 1a .Match the activities with the pictures. Talk and check the answers. Then read the phrases three times, try to remember them.2. Finish 1b. Listen and number the people in the picture. Then check the answers.3.1c. Make conversations about the people in the picture.(四)检测新学 1.T: Now lets listen to the tape, write the places to complete the chart in 2a. (听力指导:做好听力题的两个关键:一是听前看图片或者文字材料;二是听时抓住关键词。)2. T: Now, look at 2b,try to read and understand the questions in the chart, Then listen and finish 2b. Then check the answers.(五)巩固新知1. Work on 2c: Pair work Ask the Ss to role play conversations between Grace, Kevin and Julie. Use the information in 2a and 2b.(六)课堂小结要求学生掌握本节课的重点单词,及以下句型: Where did you go on vacation? How did you like it? Then have students practice asking and answering the same question.(二)新课导学 T: This class lets learn about what did Rick, Helen, Linda, Alice and Mark do on their vacation.(三)自学新知1.Role-play 2dAsk Ss to look at the pictures and conversations in 2d. Ss read the conversations by themselves and try to find out difficulties. Finish 1a .Match the words with the pictures. Then read and remember the words.2. Finish 1b. Try to use the words to make sentences.(四)检测新学 1. Work on 1c: 1) T: Now lets work on 1c. First, let one student read the questions aloud. Make sure all the Ss know the meanings of the questions.2)Play the recording for the first time. Ss only listen. 3) Then play the recording for the second time. Ss listen and answer the questions. 4) Then play the recording for the third time for the Ss to check the answers. 2. Work on 1d: 1) Tell Ss this time they have to write down what Lisa said about her vacation, the people, the fun park, the food and the store. 2) Then play the recording. Ss listen and write down the words.3) Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. 听力指导:在听时要抓重点内容。第一次听要求我们回答问题,因此在听的时候,应重点将与这些问题相关的内容方面的听清,其他作为非重点内容。另外,要注意要速记下重点内容。在完成1d部分时要注意听的重点是放在Lisa对这五个方面的事情所做评价,因此应听清楚那些形容词。 (五)巩固新知Pair work: Tell Ss to ask and answer about Lisas vacation. Begin your questions with the following sentences. For example:Where did you go on vacation? I went to New York City. Did you go with anyone? Yes, I did. 2. Ss work in pairs and ask and answer about Lisas vacations. 3. Let some pairs come to the front and ask and answer in pairs. (六)课堂小结要求学生掌握本节课的重点单词,及以下句型: Where did? What did? How was? / How were? Let some Ss read Janes diary entries again. Fill in the chart. 2. Let Ss look at the chart first. Then let them read and fill in the chart. 3. Check the answers.
