Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark教学案一、教材分析人教版九年级英语第四单元谈论的是人从过去到现在的变化，跨越两个时态，主要是用used to do sth描述人物过去是什么样儿的。本单元的话题紧扣学生生活实际，有了生活经验作为支撑，学生学起来更加有兴趣。本课时Section B 的1a1e的内容是描述人物过去的爱好与习惯，主要通过听与说两种方式来进一步巩固used to的用法，同时可以适当要求学生能进行简单的写作练习，以提高学生运用used to 应变能力。二、学情分析本班学生语音基础有些欠缺，英语基础能力不强，能用英语进行顺畅表达的学生不多，学习英语的被动性比较明显。因此在安排此课时时，注重激发学生的兴趣，采取同伴合作和分层教学的方式，尽可能地降低课本学习的难度，让大多数学生能听懂，能基本表达自己的话语，同时能促进学生能自我反省，自我教育。三、 学习目标1、 正确朗读ant，insect并在语境中识记新词；2、能听懂有关描述过去和现在变化的对话，并能抓取对话中的关键词、句，完成相应的习题；3、能用used to do sth、didnt use to等句式结构描述自己或他人过去和现在的爱好或其他的前后变化，感悟人的不断发展与进步。4、了解别人的变化，对比自己，从中能学到些什么道理。四、本课重点学生能在具体情景中正确运用used to 的各种句式描述人物。五、本课难点在听力中，能抓取关键词、句。六、情感态度与价值观通过人物前后的变化，感悟人的不断发展与进步。 并对比自己，从而珍惜自己现有的生活。七、教学方法 分层教学法：基于本班学生的实际水平，教学内容进行分层要求，以满足不同学生的课堂需求。 视听法：通过观看PPT、图片展示、师生问答、生生合作等方式激发学生的兴趣和潜能，让每个学生均能参与课堂活动中。小组合作：学生个人的能力不够，但学生共同协作，能极大提高学生的积极性，并相互帮助，共同提高八、教学过程。Step 1Show the learning aims on PPT to make students understand what well learn and how to achieve them.Step 2Play games.
