Unit8 Is there a post office near here?Period 1教案 紫云二中 王国梅Teaching Aims:1、Knowledge and Skills:(1) Students can understand and master words ,such as post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay phone, park. near, next to, in front of, behind ,betweenand, across from (2) Students will be able to use simple English to express how to ask and answer about places .2、Process and Methods :(1) Make full use of the multimedia, creating scenarios to let students have the desire to participate in learning ,and guide students to actively participate in classroom activities, as the main body of teaching and learning.(2) Advocates the combination of autonomous learning and cooperative learning to improve the learning efficiency. (3) Help students to build their own English categories thesaurus to improve the efficiency of remembering new words.3、Emotion Attitude and Values: (1) Understand some English expressions of places (2) Cultivate the students competitive cooperation through competition and group work.Teaching Important and Difficult Points:1、Teaching Important Points:(1) prepositions for position (2) Sentences about how to ask and answer about places:-Is there a hospital near here? -Yes, there is. Teaching Procedures:1、 Teaching prepositions for position Step 1. Lead-in: T: Hello, everyone, please look at me. Whats this?S: A penT: Whats this?S: A boxT: Wheres the pen?S: Its in the box.T: Good, now where the pen?S: Its on the box.T: Where is the pen?S: Its under the box.T: Good, There are three words: in 、on and under,Say what words are they? S: 方位介词。 T: Good, today we are going to learn other position prepositions . Please look at me. Wheres the pen?S: next toT: Yes, next to. Repeat it please S: Next toT: OK, Wheres the ping-pong ball ?S: NearT: Yes, near. Repeat pleaseThe teacher teach other position prepositions in the same way.-in front of、behind、and so on .The teacher write down these words on the blackboard.2、 Teach several nouns Step 2. PresentationT: Just now, we have learned some prepositions . Next ,lets look at the screen , the title of this unit: Is there a post office near here ?
