Learn how to read the new words一、Learn to read the new words of Unit 2 before class in groups. (P116-117)1. First, ask the students to try to read the new words in Unit 2 by themselves.2. Next, play the tape and ask the Ss to read after the tape to correct the pronunciation.3. Then, let the Ss work in groups of four to help each other to get more correct pronunciation. Get the students to read the words by reading like a poem. E g : cheer,cheer,cheer, C-H-E-E-R, cheer!4. Then they told the teachers at school about Jimmys problem and they set up a call-in center for parents. The ideas that they came up with worked out fine. Jimmy now has 16 bikes to fix up and give away to children who dont have bikes. They got such a feeling of satisfaction when they saw the look of joy on Jimmys face.
