Think about it.1. Read an old Chinese poem. Does it follow a pattern?2. What pattern does a five- line poem follow?设计意图:与学生进行一个简短的对话,进入本课主题。Step3 . Read and answer.Read the text and answer the following questions:1) Who created this kind of poem?2) What are five-line poems about?3) What does a five-line poem follow?设计意图:让学生带着任务读课文。Step 4. Practice.According to a picture, students try to write a five line poem.Line1: Name the topic of the poem in one word. Use a noun.Line2: Describe the topic in two words. Use a noun and an adjective, or two adjectives.Line 3: Choose three words that tell what the topic can do. Use verbs.Line 4: Express a thought or a feeling about the topic in four words. You can use any kind of words there.Line 5: Say something about the topic using one word.设计意图:让学生根据五行诗的特点亲自作诗。Step 5. Language Points1.This style was created in the nineteenth century by an American poet.表示“在几世纪”时,用“in+the+序数词+century”或”in + the +数字+s/s 在17世纪 in the 1600s/1600s2. Each line has a set number of words. a set number of :固定数量的,一定数量的拓展:a large number of 大量 a number of许多翻译练习:每个家庭都有一定数量的孩子。3. Lets look at another two poems as examples. another +基数词+可数名词= 基数词+more+可数名词翻译练习:我还有两个苹果。4. In a word, state the topic of your poem.state: v.陈述,说明。State your name and address.拓展:statement n. The government makes a statement.政府发表声明。5. Express a thought or a feeling about your topic in four words. express: v.表达 expression n.常用短语: express oneself express something to somebody 设计意图:通过教师讲解让学生对重点知识更加熟悉。Enjoy the Chinese poem.Try to answer the two questions.Read the text in groups.Write a poem by themselves .Let the students write the important language points down.教 学 教 程教 师 活 动学生活动矫正反馈Step 6.
