Because this is a grammar learning lesson. It is the grammar summary in Unit 4 and Unit 5. This is very important in Book 1. 2. This lesson is a grammar summary of two units, it is about The Attributive Clause. It is related to students language understanding. 3. Due to this lesson is a grammar learning, it is helpful for the Ss to practise English. TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDS Knowledge objects1. Further understand the attributive clause.(antecedent, relative pronouns and relative adverbs, the restrictive attributive clause and non-restrictive attributive clause)2. Master the usage of relative pronouns and relative adverbs. Ability objects 3 Enable the Ss to know and to choose correct relative pronouns and relative adverbs.4. Enable the Ss to use the attributive clause to describe things and persons. TEACHING AIDS: Blackboard; computer; OHP(overhead projector高射投影仪); TEACHING KEY POINTS 1. Analyse the function of the relative pronouns and relative adverbs in the attributive clause.2. The understanding of differences between the restrictive attributive clause and non-restrictive attributive clause. TEACHING DIFFICULTIES 1. The differences between “that” and “which”.2. Grasp the unction of the relative pronouns and relative adverbs in the attributive clause.PART 2 Teaching Methods 1.Communicative Method. 2. Aural-oral Method with the help of the computer3.Cooperative learning and practice.4. Task-based method* The Questions and exercises will be shown on the OHP with the help of the computer.PART 3 Studying Ways 1. Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners. 2.
