Ask the students what she is thinking about. Lead in the topic. She is thinking about what her friends did last weekend. Lets see what her friends did last weekend.Step 2 Presentation Show the pictures. Help students to talk about the past things. Tell students how to talk about the past things-change the verb forms into past forms. 1. Show students more past forms of regular verbs. Ask them to memorize as many as possible. Step 4 Ask and answerShow some pictures of Carols last school trip. Ask the students what they want to know about her school trip. Help students to ask questions with the auxiliary verb “Did” and simply answer the questions like” Yes, I did/ No, I didnt” 1. -Did you go to the farm? -No, I didnt. I went to the zoo.2. -Did you see any cows? -Yes, I did. I saw quite a lot.3. -Did you ride a horse? -No, I didnt. I milked a cow.4. -Did you feed the chickens? -No, I didnt.
