Yes, there is. Its on Center Street. Are there any restaurants near here? Yes, theres one in front of the post office. Wheres the hotel? Its behind the police station. Wheres the bank? Its next to the post office. Wheres the park? Its across from the bank, behind the hotel. Where are the pay phones? Theyre between the post office and the library. 2. 情感态度价值观目标:By asking for and giving directions on the street to enhance our logical expression and interpersonal skills. 2、 教学重难点1. 教学重点: there be 句型的一般疑问句及其肯定与否定回答,以where引导的特殊疑问句的构成。2. 教学难点: Ask for and give directions on the street三、教学对象分析 教学的对象是初一的学生,初一学生对英语的好知欲很强,但又不能很好的使用英语语句来进行交流,因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,以问路为话题 ,使学生有更多的机会运用there be 结构来练习用英语问路解决实际生活中的问题,减少他们实际生活中遇到外国人问路时的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。四 、教学方法 : Read work in pairs 5、 教学辅助手段 多媒体 MP3六 、教学过程 Step 1. Warming- up and revision (3 minutes)1. Greetings and revision ,first students watch video .then do exercise .2 . Lead in T: Do you know Tony ?(play the video ),Tony is new in town ,He wants to find a bank around the town ,but he cant find the way ,who can help him ?Lets look at 2d .Today we ll learn Unit 8 Is there a post office near here ?Write the title on the Blackboard . Step 2 .2d (6 minutes )T :Show four questions on the screen ,students read aloud and understand them .Then ask two students read 2d in pairs ,next students read in pairs ,and answer the questions in groups .check answers with students .T: Play the video ,students watch carefully ,ask some groups to act in class .(stress : Hi ,excuse me .thanks so much .No problem .)(圆珠笔注解)T:I am hungry now .are there any restaurants near here ? Lets read Grammar Focus together . Step 3 Grammar Focus (10 minutes )T: Students read the sentences in groups and circle “ there be ” ,show a video (微课),students watch .then do some exercise and sum up how to use there be structure .Step 4 3a (10 minutes )Ss:Students look at the map and answer the questions each other ,then role play and write down the answers .T:Ask some groups to read their answers in class and check answers .Step 5 3bT:Lets look at the sample sentences in 3a then write three sentences ,ask three students to write their own sentences on the blackboard .Step 5 Do Exercise (6 minutes )T:Students do the exercise on the screen .
