课 题Unit10 Ive had this bike for three years.Section A 3a-3c授课教师郑燕玲教学对象八 1班课时1学情分析yard sale是外国流行的一种活动,对于我们中国的学生的日常生活中是很少见的,这是中西方文化的一个差异,所以在讲课前,我给学生介绍了什么是yard sale,使学生了解之后,对英语更感兴趣。教学内容分析本节课主要教学生如何掌握阅读技巧,在教授了单词和短语之后,为阅读做好了铺垫,使学生更好地理解文章,从而通过回答问题来掌握阅读技巧。教学目标1. 学习阅读和理解yard sale2. 学习主要单词和短语3. 培养学生的阅读能力4. 培养学生应该热爱生活和帮助他人教学重点训练学生的阅读综合技巧教学难点如何训练学生通过回答问题掌握阅读技巧教 具多媒体教学过程Step1 自主学习(5分钟) Hand out a piece of paper to each student with some key words and phrases. Ask each student finish it before class. Then ask them to read the words and phrases after me.设计意图:这个环节主要是让学生在上课前能够进行预习和学习,让学生养成课前学习的习惯,并且进行带读。 Step2 Presentation(6分钟) Before- reading Show some pictures about yard sale. Show the meaning of yard sale.Show some questions to ask students to have a free talk about yard sale.设计意图:因为这节课要讲的是关于yard sale的,中国的学生对此很陌生,所以在阅读前,我就展示图片和问题,让学生进行自由对话。 Show some pictures about poor children to present this article.I say:I have a friend .He is a father with a son and a daughter.They are going to have a yard sale to make money to help the poor children.设计意图:这里主要是对学生进行情感目标教学,鼓励学生要懂得帮助他人。 Step3 While-reading(3分钟) (1)Fast reading(Answer questions) 1.What is his family going to sell at the yard sale? 2.What each paragraph is about?设计意图:让学生快速阅读,快速掌握作者的一家准备出售什么和每一段的大意。 (2)careful reading(5分钟) Read the paragraph1 and finish the tasks. Write T or F(Correct them) 1.My daughter is 15 and my boy has already started junior high school. 2.Our house really get smaller. Answer the question(3b) 1.Why did they decide to have a yard sale? 2.What do they want to do with (处理)the money from the sale?设计意图:设置问题,让学生带着问题去阅读第一段,使学生能更好地理解。 Read the paragraph2 (5分钟)Fill in the blanksHow do they feel about selling their old things? My son was quite at first.Although he his old toys . My daughter was more ,although she also felt to certain toys. Answer the questions(3b) 3.How many things have they decided to each sell? 4. Why does the son want to keep his train and railway set?设计意图:文章中提及儿子和女儿要出售从小就拥有的物品,非常地不舍,我就设置填空,叫学生细心找出他们对于即将要出售的物品的心情是如何的,同时也将3c的问题穿插进来,让学生有任务地去阅读。 Read the paragraph3(3分钟) Translate the sentences. 1.As for me ,I did not want to give up my football shirts. 2.对于我来说,现在我已经有一段时间没踢(足球)了。设计意图:第三段比较短,对于学生来说也不难,所以我设置翻译题,让学生来翻译,懂得翻译,就掌握第三段的全部意思了。 After reading (1)Answer the questions(3b) (Different students have different answers.) (3分钟) 4. How can the old toys be useful again? 5. Have you ever thought about having a yard sale to sell your things? What would you do with the money you raise?设计意图:在学习完全部的段落之后,学生对文章也有了了解,此时完成3C剩下的两道问答题来让学生各抒己见来散发学生的思维。 (2)Finish 3c Find the words or phrases in the article which have the similar meaning with the ones below. The author will give up his _ because he hasnt played _. 设计意图:在学习完整篇文章之后,学生对文章有一定的理解,让学生来复述文章是阅读课的一个重要环节,同时能训练学习”说”的能力和概括能力。 Step4 Groupwork(6分钟)义卖活动要求:为了帮助有需要的人们,我学决定于周五下午4:00-5:00进行校园义卖,学生可以售卖自己不需要的文具、旧书或者是其他物品,所得的款项将作为爱心基金。请4人一组讨论,填写以下表格: Then ask each leader to report.设计意图:在我们学习了yard sale之后,我们也根据实际生活来举行自己的义卖活动,将所得的款项作为爱心基金,同时能教育学生能热爱生活和懂得帮助他人。Step5 Exercise: Fill in the blanks with the phrases in the box.
