Greeting Step II .Leading-in (1) Show students some pictures and let the Ss guess what the people are doing. T: What is he doing? Ss: Hes playing. 展示完图片后让学生总结A:现在进行时的构成:is/ am/ are + doing)B: 总结现在分词的构成:一般直接加ing ,去e加ing,双写加ing (2) Ask the Ss “Its 9:15. What are you doing now?” and guide them to answer “We are having an English class.” Then ask the Ss “What were you doing at this time yesterday?” Let the Ss look at the class table and try to answer: We were having a class. (3)then Present some pictures , let Ss guess what the people were doing ,ask them to pay attention to the time.T: What was he doing?Ss: He was listening.at 10 a m. yesterday. (通过对现在进行时的复习,让学生注意观察时间的不同,自然的过渡到过去进行时的学习 .然后总结:过去进行时的构成:was/ were doing. 表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作)(4) Make a comparison between the two tenses. 时态现在进行时过去进行时用法表示现在正在进行的动作表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作结构is/am/are + doingwas/were + doing例句I am having an English classI was having an English class .Step III. Practice1. Let Ss do some exercise by using am/is/are +doing or was/were +doing 2. Check the answers .let Ss give the answers as quickly as they can , and ask them to give the reasons.3. Pair work . Let Ss look at the pictures, and make conversations by using the target language.Step VI .Consolidation 1. Do 1a. Look at the 4 pictures and match the statements with the people in the picture. Answers: badc 2. Listening. Listen to the TV report twice and circle the correct responses. ,then let Ss to tell the answers, if other Ss have different answers, play the tape and check the answers. 3. Work in pairs, Talk about what the people in 1a doing at the time of the rainstorm. A: What was the girl doing at the time of the rainstorm? B: She was Step V. Group work (Find who is the best reporter) 1. Divided Ss into group of 6, imagine they are TV reporters, let them interview their group members and ask them what they were doing when the rainstorm came ? Finish the paper and give a report.NameWhat he/she doing when the rainstorm came?2. Show time. Its time for Ss to give the report , after they give their report , let Ss decide who is the best reporter.Step VI. Examination1.
