Unit 4 My neighbourhood Lesson 22 I like my neighbourhood 教材分析本课的教学内容是第四单元的第四课时, 在教学过程中, 教师应创设“社区生活”的情景, 围绕这一话题谈论社区里的设施。在授课之前先让学生仔细了解自身所在街区的情况, 课上让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流。教师可以借助幻灯片展示一些街区场景的图片, 让学生简单介绍。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】记忆单词block, bank, whole, cost句型Itsblocks (away) from。 掌握频度副词并巩固There be 句型的用法。【过程与方法目标】Reading and speaking【情感态度价值观目标】采取小组活动和评价的形式, 加强学生的合作意识。 教学重难点【教学重点】采取小组活动和评价的形式, 加强学生的合作意识。【教学难点】掌握词汇block, bank, whole, cost, 接触词汇pond, freeze, hockey, chat, 学习句型Itsblocks (away) from等。 课前准备图片,PPT 教学过程Step . Lead inLeading in 【情景1】Show some pictures about the neighbourhood and discuss the following questions: How many buildings are there in your neighbourhood? Whats your favourite? Why?Show some pictures about football, basketball, ping-pong, tennis, volleyball and badminton with PPT. T: Do you know them? What do you like to play?Ss: I like to playT: Do you know about hockey?S1: No. / A little. T: Hockey is a very popular sport in Canada. Lets learn more about it. 设计意图通过复习日常运动名称, 既是为新课热身, 又能自然引入对新词的学习, 做到知识的前后连接。Leading in 【情景2】T: What do you like to do after school?Where do you like to go?S1: I like to play basketball after school. /I like to go to the park after school. S2: I like to chat with my friend on line. S3: I help with the housework. I help wash the dishes and take out the garbage. T: Very good. Look at the picture of the boy in this lesson. His name is Michael. Michael likes to play hockey after school. Do you know what hockey is?Look at the “Culture Tip” as a class and discuss it. T: Now lets read more about Michael and his neighbourhood. 设计意图师生对话讨论熟悉的话题, 提高学生的学习兴趣, 导入本课的内容。Step . Listening 1. Play the audiotape for Lesson 22 (I Like My Neighbourhood) . Play it once and ask the students just to listen. 2. Play the audiotape a second time and ask the students to complete Exercise 2 in “Lets Do It!”. 设计意图 在教学过程中, 教师应创设“街区生活”的情景, 围绕这一话题浮现街区里的设施。Step . Reading1. Instruct the students to read Lesson 22 silently and complete Exercise 1 independently. 2. Read the passage again and answer the following questions. (1) When does Michael usually play hockey?(2) What does Michael usually do on weekends?(3) How much does the hot chocolate cost?【Keys】(1) During the winter the pond freezes. (2) He usually does some housework first, then goes to the coffee shop. (3) It costs $3. 50. 3. Play the audiotape for Lesson 22 a third time. Ask the class to listen to it and read aloud along with the audiotape. 4. Ask the students to read the text and have a further study of the text. 教材解读1. There is a pond near my house. There be意思是“有”, 在这个句型中, There是引导词, 句子的主语是 be动词后面的名词(短语) , be 动词的单、复数取决于离它最近的名词(短语) 的单复数。There are three elephants in the zoo. 动物园里有三头大象。2. Its only three blocks from my house. “Its +距离+(away) from”表示“某地离某地的距离有多远”, 其中away可以省略。 The library is two kilometers away from the supermarket. 图书馆离超市有两公里远。3. Sometimes I sit for the whole afternoon and do my homework. all与whole都有“整个, 全部”的含义。一般来讲, all可以修饰各类名词, 且限定词要放在all之后。而whole只能修饰具有整体意义的单数名词, 且限定词要放在whole之前。all the students所有的学生the whole class整个班级4. It costs $3. 50!【辨析】cost, pay, spend, take(1) cost 作动词, 意为“花费”, 主语为物, 通常为所买的东西, 不能是人, 后跟宾语, 句型: “Sth. cost(s) sb. +钱数”。The meal cost us 30. 那顿饭花了我们 30 英镑。(2) pay意为“给付款”, 宾语为人或钱, 不能是购买的物品, 常用于“Sb. +pay(s) +钱数+for+名词(所买的物品) ”或“Pay+钱数+for+sb. /sth. ”句型中。(3) spend常指花费金钱或时间, 主语必须是人, 句式为“Sb. +spend(s) +时间/金钱+on sth. /(in) doing sth. ”。(4) take意为“花费”时, 常用于句型“It takes/took sb. +时间+to do sth. ”意为“某人做某事花费多少时间”。设计意图任务的设计层层递进。从语言的输入, 到任务型活动中语言的输出, 使学生巩固目标语言。Step .
