Difficult pointUsing the knowledge learned to conduct free conversation in real scenes. Teaching procedureStep 1. Reviewa. Free talkb. Review the knowledge learned.Step 2. Learn new wordsa. Show the picture of cycling, and ask students “which sports is it?” Write “cycling” on the blackboard and study the new word. Then do the action and say “Go cycling, I can go cycling.” Last, teach and help students to follow the sentences and understand them.b. Show the picture of badminton, and make conversations with students. T-Do you like badminton?Ss-Yes, I do No, I dont.Then write “badminton” on the blackboard and study the new word. Later on, do the action and say “play badminton, I can play badminton.”c. Show the picture of ice-skate. Then do the action and say “Ice-skate, ice-skate, I can ice-skate”.d. Show the picture of think. Then learn the new word “think”, know its past tense “thought”.Step 3. Play bomb game Play bomb game to consolidate what they have learned.(Bomb game, first, everyone should stand up, when the teacher click one new word once, the students should read it quiclky, when the teacher click one new word twice, the students shouldnt read it and keep quiet. If someone read it, he is out. He should read the word twice and sit down. Finally, when there is only one member stand up, he is the winner. )Step 4. Learn sentencesa. Show the picture of winter, then let students to finish the blank. b. Learn the folloing sentence according to the picture.c. Help students understand the sentence of “I like winter now, I love to ice-skate”.Step 5-6. Learn by yourself and give some pointsa. Turn to page 37, look at the sentences and try to learn by yourself. Underline the words you cant get. Finally, lets study the sentences together and give some key points.b. Read the dialogues in groups.Step 7. Listen, match and saya. Two minutes for students to have a knowledge of the pictures. b. Let them listen the tapes and follow the dialogues. Later on, when students listen the tapes again, they should finish their task-match.c. Check the answer.d. Make sentences with “Before,couldnt. Now.could” , so as to consolidate what we have learned.Step 8. Consolidate用所给词的正确形式填空。 1. There werent any_computers_(computer) at all.2. Could you _see_ (see) stars at night?3.
