Unit 8 Whats this? 教案第一课时一、教学目标:1. Learn the words: an eraser, a pencil-box, a book, a ruler, a pencil sharpener.2. Be able to use the sentence “Whats this?” “Its ”.3. Understand and tell the story.二、教学重点:Be able to use the sentence “Whats this?” “Its ”.三、教学难点:Be able to use the word “a”& “an”; “Great!”, “Wonderful”.四、教学用具:Textbook, tape, tape-recorder, alphabet cards and word cards.五、教学方法:Games, reading, action, etc.六、教学过程:Step 1 Warm-up activity1. Greeting. 2. Sing an English song weve learned together.Step 2 Presentation & drill 1. Learn to say: an eraser.T show “an eraser” picture and say “ Look! Whats this? Its ” help Ss understand the meaning. Read the sentence after T.Learn to say: a pencil-box, a book, a ruler, a pencil sharpener in the same way.Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss say the words.Open the books, listen to the tape and read after it.2. Lead-in. T shows the picture of Part A, B & C. T says and help Ss understand the meaning. Read the sentence after T.3. Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss tell the story.4. Open the books, listen to the tape and read after it.Step 3 Practise1. A game Guess, guess, guess!T: Whats in it?Ss: A ruler is in it.T: No. / Great! / Wonderful! Its a ruler.
