The students will learn how to order food or take away. In this unit, the students will be able to use “would like” to express their need for food and learn how to ask others information and provide their personal information during the process.2. Teaching objectives(1) Knowledge objectives: a. To master how to order food or take away; b. To master the modal verb “would” and “what” questions.c. To master the usage of countable nouns and uncountable nouns.(2) Ability objectives: a. To use “would like” to talk about the need for food.b. To improve students ability of communication and social practice. (3) Sensibility objectives: Let the students experience the happiness of learning English, cultivate their ability to do things and foster the spirit of cooperation in group activities.3. Teaching importance and difficulties:(1)Key words and target language and structures;(2)To master the usage of countable nouns and uncountable nouns;(3)To use “would like” to express their need for food and learn how to order food.三. Target Language and vocabulary (1) What kind of noodles would you like? Id like beef and tomato noodles, please. (2) What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like a large / medium / small bowl of noodles. (3) Vocabulary large, noodles, beef, chicken, mutton, potatoes, cabbage, dumplings, porridge, soup, green tea, orange juice, would like, address, kind, size, bowl.4. Teaching procedures:1,warming-up and lead in(1)watch a video about food and vegetables and ask the students: what food do you like best? Whats your favorite food?(2) set some examples and pictures of my favorite food.2, presentation(1)Show some pictures of food; let the Ss say the food names (both Chinese and English).(2)Show the sentence pattern on PPT. What would you like? Id like some noodles.(3) Work on 1a: read the words on the left and look at the pictures on the right. Write the letters of the food on the line. Then check the answers.3, listening(1) let the ss speak out the three specials in the picture beside 1a and guess which one the man will order.(2) play the recorder for one time.(3) check the answer.4, Sentence pattern(1) Show the picture on the book beside 1a; and ask the Ss: What kind of food would you like?(2) show 3 Specials and teach the Ss the patern: What kind of food would you like? and its answers.(3)Show different size of the bowl(4) Let the Ss review the size and learn the pattern: what size would you like? Id like a small/medium/large bowl of noodles.5,listening 2a&2b(1) Play the recorder for 3 times. The first time Ss just listen. And the second time Ss listen and write down the answers,the third time check the answers.(2) Give them marks and gifts if they do well.6, pair work(1) Show the pictures of different specials.(2) Ss practice as the following:what would you like?Id like some noodles.What kind of noodles would you like?Id like_ noodles.What size would you like?Id like a _ bowel.7, homeworkRemember the new words and sentence patterns.finish section A1.8,Blackb
