Presentationa. 呈现小铲子的图片,问:Look, I have a trowel. What can we use it to do? 边回答边板书:To dig holes.b. T: Hobo is going to dig holes. Do you know why? Lets find out the answer together.c. 播放录音,要求学生听录音回答问题:Hobo will plant trees.d. 再次播放录音,要求学生跟读,并回答更多问题:(1) Why does Hobo want to plant more trees?(2) Does Eddie want to go with Hobo?(3) What does Eddie want to plant? 2. Practice a. T: Listen to the tape and follow in chorus. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation. b. T: These two teams will read Eddies part and these two will read Hobos part. c. Work in pairs and read the conversation between Eddie and Hobo. You can add your own ideas. d. Act out. Step 3 Welcome to the unit 1. Presentation a. 让学生谈谈参加过的或知道的环保活动。 b. 呈现A部分的图片,问:Whats the boy doing? Why? c. T: We can protect the environment by recycling waste.带学生朗读句子。 d. 用同样的方法呈现其他三幅图片。学生完成A 部分练习,核对答案。 2. Activity a. 展示有关污染的图片T: Our planet is in trouble! We should try our best to protect the environment. What else can we do? b. 呈现以下句子供学生讨论时参考: (1)Turn off computers when we are not using them. (2) Use cold water instead of warm or hot water to wash our hands when possible. (3) Use both sides of a piece of paper. (4) Send e-cards instead of paper cards. (5) Buy products that you can use again. (6) Reduce waste. 3. Practice 1. T: Living a green life is helpful for protecting the environment.
