The type of the class二、教学方法Task-based language teaching method, Communicative language teaching method,Discussion teaching method三、课前准备PPT, blackboard, recorder, pointer四、教学重难点Important points:1. Let students speak freely when look at something.2. Let some students discuss in a group.3. Grasp the meaning in picture and video.Difficult points:Let students speak English freely when students look at some picture.五、教学设计Step 1: Work-Show (3-5 minutes)Show their homework. Make a story or conversation with their partner about their ideal life. Share it in the front of the class.Step 2: Speaking (15-20 minutes)Before doing the exercise, look at some pictures (Robot, computer, car, house, travel and so on.) about the life in the future to lead students to speak freely.(1) Say that in the story the BINGO Kids are talking about their ideas about life in the year 2050.(2) Ask a concept question: “Are we talking about the past, present, or future. ”(3) Listening drill.(4) Choral repetition: Students listen and repeat after you three times.(5) Individual check.(6) Present the second model: in the year 2050 computers will do everything : Repeat steps 2-5 above.(7) Practice the first and second models.(8) Elicit the other five models by following steps 2-5Revise all seven models.Watch the video for second time and answer some questions:Q1: What does Sue think about the future?Q2: What does Ann think about the future?Q3: What does Ken think about the future?学生在听课文时找到上面三个问题的答案。同时学习huge, different, 等并理解其意思。设计意图:让学生带着问题去读课文,阅读前对问题进行翻译,照顾部分中下等学生。从细节上感知故事内容.Step 3: Watching and thinking (3-6 minutes)Watch a video about life in 2050 directed by a foreign director. And lead students to think and imagine the future life.Step 4: review some words of materials (2-3 minutes)Please students read after me.Step 5: Do exercises and have a discussion (4-5 minutes)Do exercise 2 in the text book. Let students discuss the answers. And check the answer. Step 6: Thinking and speaking (5-8 minutes)Talk about the materials of our school.五、课后作业1.熟记本单元的单词和句子。2.与父母对话本单元的对
