Could you please clean your room? 教学设计西安市第六十七中学 秦梅教材分析The analysis of teaching material 本课是人教版新目标英语八年级下册第三单元的第一课时。本单元围绕“chores”这一话题展开,语言技能和语言知识都是依据这一中心设计的。要求学生学会用句型“Could you please.?”和“Could I.?”礼貌提出请求或征求别人的许可,以及有礼貌的拒绝别人并表达自己的理由,陈述自己的好恶。目的在于教育学生如何有礼貌的沟通,通过谈论家务,学做家务,体会劳动的艰辛,从而理解并尊重父母为自己的付出,同时身体力行,帮助家长做力所能及的家务。上一单元自愿者活动是帮助他人,本单元是和父母礼貌沟通以及帮助完成家务,下一个单元是如何与父母和谐沟通。由此看出本课承上启下,让孩子做做家务理解父母的不容易,从而更好的与父母和谐相处。因此本课的学习是非常重要的。学情分析The analysis of teaching condition 本课的教学对象是八年级的学生。他们活泼好动、好胜心强、可塑性大,但是由于是大班教学,学生水平不一,语言实践的机会少,可能会出现两极分化的现象。此外,学生对谈论的话题应该感兴趣,但是,本课有关家务的动词多而长,语言的流利性会有一定的影响。礼貌请求和征求许可句型差不多,主语的转换学生很可能会有些茫然,不好区别。 资源利用Teaching aids1. 教学环境的设计与准备:全班同学按小组划分,桌椅摆放要便于学生活动。2. 教学用具的设计与准备。(1) 网络图片:5张脏乱房间的照片(2) 音频文件:听力训练。(3) 教学PPT及chant(4) 小组竞赛的笑脸与皇冠。教学目标Learning objectivesLanguage skillsStudents can speak all kinds of chores.Students can find the main pattern from listening materials.Students can make polite requests and ask for permission.Language knowledgeStudents can master the phrases of doing chores as follows,do the dishes; take out the rubbish;fold your clothes; sweepthe floor;make your bed; clean the living room;get a ride; stay out late; go out for dinner; Students can make polite requests and ask for permission and how to answer “yes” and “no”as follows;Could you (please)+V原.? I have to do my homework.教学重难点Language focuses and anticipated difficultiesLanguage focuses This is a new lesson so the focus is to cultivate the students listening and speaking skills.The many activities are designed to help students train their listening and speaking skills,such as test memory,guessing and pair work and summarizing. It is also important for the students to master the new phrases and patterns.Anticipated difficultiesAs the students have limited vocabulary,so they may have some difficulties in express chores.So the teachers will help them to master the phrases.Students may not answer the patter correctly before, so the teacher will tell them and do some examples.教学过程 Step 1. Lead-in Activity 1 Greetings and Picture talking(2min) T:Good morning everyone!(Good morning, May)T:Whats the problem?Are these rooms clean?(Students say no,because the pictures are about dirty rooms.)T:Lets help clean these rooms, OK?(Students say YES)T:But I am tired today.Could you please help me? (Students say YES)T:So today well learn Unit 3 Could you please clean you room?(Students speak out the title while the teacher is writing on the blackboard) Step 2. Learning aims(1,2,3) (Teacher speak English,students look at the Chinese) Learning key points(phrases,pattern and answer)(T cant read them ,let the students look instead)Aims:let students know what we will learn. Step 3. PresentationT:Class,at home ,there are many chores.Do you do chores(housework) at home? (ask 6students)(students :Yes I do./No, Idont.)T:You are good boys and girls.Now lets learn more chores.Activity1:Students learn;1 student plays little teacher to read once,others read three times;Activity(Memory test:Try to remember the pictures in order in 30 seconds.)Activity2:“What other chores do you know?” PPT shows pictures and phrases:look after the child ;go shopping;clean the windows;wash the car;take the dog for a walk;water the flowers.Aims:Cultivate the studentsemotion aims and master the key phrases, then broden more chores.Step 4. Listening 1b and paiwork Teacher leads into listening by an activiy:who is the fastest to find 4 chores in Peters room and says Peters grandma is coming, so Mom wants Peter to clean the house. So listen :who will do these chores, Mom or Peter? Check( )Mom or Peter.After listeng ,check the answer and ask students that what does mom say to Peter. Then summarize the pattern and pair worrk ask and answer(boys ask,girls answer”yes”,girls ask, boys answer”no”).Could you (please)+ 3pictures? Listen again. Why does Peters father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart.(Before listening ,ake sure the students know the phrases on the right in the blanks ,listen,check )T:How does Peter ask ?(After listeing ,check the answer and ask students that if you are Peter,how do you ask your father for permission?.
