Unit3 At the zoo B Lets learn 海城镇德荥学校 陈嘉曼1、 教学内容:1. 单词:big, small, long, short.2. 句型It has.二、教学目标:1.能听、说、认读单词:big, small, long ,short,并能这些单词来描述动物形态特征。2.能够听懂、会说句型It has .3.激发学生充分动用已学过的知识,进行发散性认识。 三、学情分析: 学生在本单元前一、二、课时已经学习过形容词thin,fat, short, tall以及句型Its 。在新的课堂能在语境下整体感知了long, short,big , small的音和义,以及It has句型的表达。于是在设计这堂课时,我尽可能让课堂变得有趣起来,在操练环节多采用听、说、游戏的方式,让学生能动起来,充分参与到课堂中来。为了让呈现部分更有趣更直观一点,我设计了一个大鸵鸟,用鸵鸟的几个身体特征引出It has.的句型描述。四、教学重难点:1.单词big, small, long, short的音、形、义、用;能听懂会说句型It has ,区别使用Its和It has 。2. 教学难点:利用所学形容词熟练自如地描述各种动物。单词small 中 l 的发音,舌头要上卷.Short 的两种意思。五、教学准备:课件、多媒体、词卡、图卡、装有玩偶的箱子。六、教学过程:(一) Warming up1. Greetings2. Lets guess教师做动作,学生根据老师动作猜单词复习第一课时学过的4个单词:fat, thin, tall, short。3.复习第一课时Lets do的歌谣,全班学生一起配合动作,活跃课堂气氛:Be fat. Be fat. Be fat, fat, fat.Be thin. Be thin. Be thin, thin, thin.Be tall. Be tall. Be tall, tall, tall.Be short. Be short. Be short, short, short.(二) Presentation1.Show some a half of faces animals s pictures and match the sounds, according to the sounds, students can guess which animals they are . (animalss photos:elephant,monkey,dog,bear )Then show the big picture ,in order to guide students all of these animals are at the zoo .2.Teach the word “Big”T:Lets see the picture ,elephant ,what are the characteristic of elephant?Ss:Its fat and大的.T:Ok ,good. So 大的is “big”3.Teach “Small”.T: Show the photo of mouse ,and ask the Ss how the mouse looks like? Is it thin? Is it tall?Ss: It is thin and 小的.T:Well .very good .Therefore ,小的 in English is “small”.4. Teach the word “long” ”short”. To use monkey and rabbits pictures ,comparing “long or short” by their tails.T:Lets see the monkey ,so how about its tail?Ss: Monkeys tail is 长的.T:Well done .Long ,monkeys tail is long. Lets continue ,so how about rabbits tail?Ss: Its 短的.T:Perfect!Rabbits tail is short. 5.Game:Who want to be a teacher? Inviting a one of groups Ss standing in the front of the blackboard, to read “big, small ,long ,short” one by one .Other Ss follows he/she. 6.Sing a song:lets chantBig big big,make your eyes big.Small small small ,make your eyes small.Long long long ,make your arms long .Short short short ,make your arms short.边唱边做动作。 7.Show an Ostrichs picture.Using “It has.”to describe it. It has a small head. It has a big body. It has long legs. It has a short tail.(三)Practice1.Look at the elephant and fill in the banks . It has a ( )nose. It has a ( )tail. It has ( )ears. It has ( )eyes.2.Pair work :Discuss with partner ,using “It has.” to describe the characteristic of rabbit. A:It has long ears. B:It has a short tail.3.Teacher show the magic box ,there are many toy animals in it .Ss pass the box one by one,when the music stop ,a one of students should stand up and describe animals by”It has.”.(四)Homework1
