This step can let students recall the situation that they visit or invite friends at home, which is matching to this texts background. )2) Presentation (18 mins):（1） Predict the text:a) Show a picture about Zhang Pengs bedroom in PPT;b) Teacher says “Today, Sarah and Mike visit Zhang Pengs home and Zhang Peng shows and introduces his bedroom to friends. Look at this picture, what things do you see and think that if you were Zhang Peng what you will say to Sarah and Mike.”(Students may say some new words in Chinese, like “zhongbiao” and “ shuibei”. At this time, teacher needs to introduce these new words to students. )c) Introduce new words: clock, photo, plant, water bottle, bike;（2） Present the text:a) Play the audio and ask “What is in Zhang Pengs room?”b) Circle words in PPT: Ask students to circle right words which have been mentioned in audio.c) Listen again and check answers.(In this steps teacher use “have” to describe right answers: Zhang Peng has a big bed; He has a nice photo. )d) Teaching new sentence structure “There be”i.
