We hopethe guideline will help eliminate the publics misunderstanding andbias of donating their organs after death, said Huang Jiefu, headof a national human organ donation and transplant committee andchief editor of the guideline. Chen Qiuyan, 20, acommunications student at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, saidshe was shocked last year to discover textbooks in the collegelibrary that continued to define homosexuality as a sickness. Somerecommended treatments included aversion therapy involvingelectric shocks or emetic drugs.
