The Analysis of Teaching Contents: The topic of this lesson is“where did you go?” Such topic is familiar to students life. So it can raise students interests easily. This lesson is the first part of this unit; students have already known some basic expressions of how to describe the things they did in unit 2. This unit is the expansion of it. It focuses on how to express many other activities during holidays.II. The Analysis of Students: The students are in Grade 6 now, they are active and lovely. They have learned English for more than 3 years, they can understand the basic words and simple sentences, and what is more, they have a strong will to express themselves more in English.III. Teaching Aims and Demands:A.Ability Aims:1.Students can develop the ability of listening and speaking.2.Students can develop the ability of communicating with others in pairs and groups.3.Students can master the simple past tense and use them fluently to talk about the holidays.B.Knowledge Aims:1.Students can understand the simple past tense and use them to describe the activities such as went fishing, went camping, rode a horse, rode a bike and hurt my foot.2.Students can say the new sentences:Where did you go last Saturday/last weekend? I went to What did you do there? I3.Students can say the sentences in real situations.C.Emotional Aims:1.Students will love English more and have the confidence to say English.2.Students will have the spirits of communicate with others.3.Students can travel around and enjoy their vacations.4.
