Students can use “while”and “when”correctly .教学过程Step 1 Greet. 1. Lets begin our class. Say like me. “good, better, best, we can do the best.”2. Lead in. This class, we will learn “What were you doing when the rainstorm came ?” 3. Read the title together.4.Show some pictures to the students to learn the new words and phrases of this part.Step 2 presentation 1. Show some on the screen some grammar explanations for the new tense. 2. Students to read and learn the sentences on the screen.3. Look at the picture and think about what has happened. Pay attention to the time phrases.4. Guessing game : Last night , I went to my family members rooms.Please guess “what they were doing when I arrived?”What was my brother doing when I arrived?_.What was my sister doing when I arrived?_.What was my grandma doing when I arrived?_.What was my mother doing when I arrived?_.Step 3 work on 1a. 1.Read and match the statements with the right picture.2.Read and recite the place phrases.Step 4 Work on 1b. 1.
