Unit6 Do you like bananas? Section A (1a-2d)1、 Teaching aims and demands: 1. Language goals:Master the new words and expressions. Words:hamburger,tomato,pear,milk,bread,ice- cream,salad,banana,strawberry. Target language:Do you like bananas? Yes,I do./No,I dont.Talk about likes and dislikes;Master the use of general questions.Learn about countable nouns and uncountable nouns.2. Ability goals: Train students listening and speaking skills. Train students to communicate with others fluently.3. Moral goals: Talk about food, enjoy the life.Lead students to express their feelings freely.二、学情分析学生已经学习并掌握了一些运动器械的单词以及表达所属关系的句型,并且已能用形容词等来表达自己的看法。这个单元是以食物作为话题展开喜恶的讨论,食物这个话题很能引起学生的兴趣,更能激发学生开口说英语的欲望。初一的学生,年龄较小,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛和一些新知识特别感兴多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。3、 教学重点和难点1.Teaching important points: The names of food. Talk about likes and dislikes. The use of general questions. Learn about countable nouns and uncountable nouns.2.Teaching difficult points: Master the use of general questions. Learn about countable nouns and uncountable nouns.4、 Teaching aids: A tape recorder, some pictures,PPT.五、Teaching procedures:Step1 Warm-up and revision 1.Teacher and students greet each other as usual. 2.Teacher asks students to review last unit(T asks Ss, Ss look at pictures and answer) e.g. : T: Whats this? Ss: Its a soccer ball. T: Do you have a soccer ball? Ss: Yes, I do./No, I dont. T: Whats that? Ss: That isStep2 Leading in Teacher shows a banana to students and says :T:Whats this?Ss:Its a banana. (Help students to answer) T:I have a banana.Do you have a banana?Ss: No, I dont.T: I like bananas. Do you like bananas?Ss: Yes, I do./No, I dont.Step3 Presentation1. Teacher shows a picture of a supermarket , and presents new food words in it. e.g.: T: This is a supermarket.There is many things in the supermarket. Can you say out the names of the things? Ss:Yes./ No. 2. Teacher points to the pictures and asks what this is to present new words of food: hamburgers, oranges, pears, milk,ice-cream 3. Students read the new words after the teacher one by one. Then they read in chorus. 4. Teacher asks students: Do you like oranges/ hamburgers/bread/salad? Students answer:Yes, I do./ No, I dont. 5.Students match the words with the things in the picture in 1a.Step4 Listening1.Students listen and number the conversations1-3. Finish 1b.2.Listen to 2a and circle the food they hear.3.Play the tape again and fill in the blanks.Finish 2b.Step 5 Consolidation 1. Put the students into pairs to role-play the conversation in 2d. 2.Explain the meaning and language points.Step6 Practice1. Students work with the teacher and their partners to practice the words and sentence patterns:Do you like salad?Yes,I do./No,I dont.Does she like tomatoes?Yes,she does./No,she doesnt.I like bananas.I dont like oranges.2.Show some pictures.Teacher asks some pairs to perform their conversations.Step7 Make a survey Teacher asks students work in group to survey what their teammates like and dislike.Then let them write a report.Step8 Summary 1.Countable nouns and uncountable nouns 2.Present tense to like:Do you like.?
