人教版八年级下册英语Unit 1 Whats the matter?(section 1a-1c)教学设计湖南永州市东安县澄江中学英语教师:沈朝霞一教学目标:1语言目标:描述健康问题的词汇,及如何根据别人的健康问题提建议。 2 技能目标:能听懂谈论健康问题的对话材料;能根据别人的健康问题提建议;能写出重点单词和重点句型,并能描述怎样对待健康问题。3 情感目标:通过开展扮演病人等活动,培养学生关心他人身体健康的品质, 树立紧急事件时互相帮助的精神。二教学重点: 1.单词 matter, sore , stomachache , foot, neck , stomach, throat, fever, rest, cough, X-ray , toothache, headache 2.短语: have a stomachache, have a cold, lie down, take ones temperature, have a fever3.句子: 1 Whats the matter? I have a stomachache. You shouldnt eat so much next time.2 Whats the matter with Ben?He has a sore back.He should lie down and rest.3 Do you have a fever? Yes, I do. No, I dont. I dont know.4 Does he have a toothache? Yes, he does.He should see a dentist and get an X-ray.5 What should she do? Two of the students can try to teach the words as a teacher. These new words are:1. Whats the matter? 2.sore3.have a cold 4.stomachache5.have a stomachache 6. foot7.neck 8.stomach9.throat 10.fever11.toothache 12.headache13.cough 14.take ones temperatureStep 2 Presentation (1a)1.Look at a picture and learn the parts of the body.2.New words and phrases.Teach the parts of the body one by one by touching it. While teaching one, let them touch or show it .Present a picture of a baby .Let the students say the parts of the body.3.Now have you mastered all the English names of our body parts? Look atthe picture on page 1. Whats the matter? 这是人们特别是医生和护士询问病人病情时最常用的问句, 意思是“怎么了?”其后通常与介词with连用。类似的问句还有:Whats wrong? 怎么啦?Whats wrong with you? 你怎么了?Whats your trouble? 你怎么了?Whats the trouble with you? 你怎么了?Whats up? 你怎么了?2. have a cold伤风, 感冒, 是固定词组 表示身体不适的常用词组还有: have a bad cold 重感冒 have a fever 发烧 have a headache 头痛 have a stomachache 肚子痛, 胃痛 have a toothache 牙痛 have a backache 背痛have a sore throat 喉咙痛Step 7 Listening 1b 1)We all know the conversations are about health problems. Whats the matter with each problems? Listen and look at the picture. Then number the names 1-5. keys 3 1 2 5 4 Step 8. Speaking (1c) Look at the pictures. What are the Judys problems? Make conversations. Examples1)A: Whats the matter with Judy? B: She talked too much yesterday and didnt drink enough water. She has a very sore throat now.2)A: Whats the matter with Sarah?B: She didnt take care of herself on the weekend. She was playing with her friends at the park yesterday. Then it got windy, but she didnt put on her jacket. Now she has a cold.Step 9. Guessing game Look at the pictures . Whats the matter with him? Does he have a fever? Does he have a toothache? Does he have a stomachache? What should he do?
