Be able to know what to do is healthy in free time. 重点1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。 2)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。集体研讨个性施教难点阅读2b部分的短文并完成相关要求。 用文章中的词概括缩写本篇报告。教学过程. Before reading: (2mins)1. Daily greeting. Introduce the group competition in this class. 2. Free talk: What do you usually do in your free time? How often do you do them? (Tips: 1a短语). While reading (30mins)1. Skimming: Whats the passage about? (1min)2. Scanning: Whats each paragraph about? (2mins)3. Complete the pie chart in 2b.(15mins) 1)Read paragraph 2 and complete pie chart 1. (Tell Ss to scan the key information) 2)Check answers about pie chart 1. Then ask: How many percent of the students exercise four to six times a week? 3)Guide Ss to underline where to find the numbers in the passage. 4)Read Para.3、4 and complete pie chart 2、3.Check the answers together. Then Ask: 1.What do most students do to use the Internet? 2. What program do most students like to watch? 5) Use the information in the pie chart to do a survey. Give the conversation tips: A: Hi! Im a reporter from Zhuhai TV. Can I ask you some questions? B: Of course. A: How many percent of the students every day? B: percent of the studentsevery day. A: Thank you very much.B: Youre welcome.6) Free talk: Do you think the students at No. 5 High School are healthy? Why or why not? 4. Complete 2c and 2d. Check answers in groups. Make a pie chart like those in 2b. 4.
