英语课教学设计方案Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark. Section A(1a-2b) 张九台中学 彭方 I .Analysis of the students learning condition .(学情分析) 初三127班学习能力强,多数学生对英语学习有很强的兴趣。但对于少数同学来说,英语是弱势科目,特别是听力能力差。通过本单元的听力内容提高他们的听力能力。II .Analysis of the teaching material(教材分析) 本单元主要运用used to 结构谈论过去的事。述说以前的外貌、性格特征、心理感受和行为习惯。重点培养学生积极健康的心态,学会用语言谈论事物的发展与变化。III. Teaching objectives(教学目标) 知识与技能1)掌握used to结构的陈述句、疑问句及否定句:I used to.Did you use to .I didnt use to2) 学生能运用used to结构,谈论自己与过去的不同之处,能准确地描述自己的外貌、性格的变化,灵活运用used to结构处理和传递信息。过程与方法1) 运用used to结构谈论过去喜欢(做)的事,以及描述自身的变化。2) 根据上下文学会新的单词和词组,提取需要的信息。3) 运用所学内容写篇描述自身变化的文章。情感、态度与价值观1) 让学生明白事件万物都在变化。培养学生积极健康的态度,学会谈论事物的发展与变化。2) 鼓励学生多交流,尽量处理好人际关系。重点难点重点掌握新的单词和词组;掌握used to 结构;掌握新的目标语言。难点让学生用used to 结构比较过去和现在;培养学生的听、说、读、写的能力和交际能力。教学方法分组活动、课堂讨论、听力回答、多媒体辅助教学。IV.教学过程Step1 Warm up Write two dates on the blackboard. On the left is todays date .on the right is the same day, but five years ago. Ask one student to stand up to describe that student now.T: Tom is tall.T: Was Tom tall five years ago ?S:No,he was short.T: Thats right. He was short. But now he is tall. We can describe him like this: Tom used to be short, but now he is tall. We use ”used to” to talk about how people or thing have changed.Step II Presentation1. Teaching 1aThis part is designed to introduce some adjectives to describe people.Have students look at the chart in 1a and point at two words, appearance and personality. Explain them to the class and let students think of some adjectives relating to these two words, and fill in the blanks.2. Teaching 1b,1c These two parts are designed to give students some listening and oral practice.(1) Read two instructions together with the class, and ask student to look at the uncompleted sentences in the box.(2) Play the tape. Student listen carefully and fill in theBlank with the words they hear.Answers:Glasses , tall, short hair, curly.(3) After that, get students to make conversations using the information in 1a and 1b.In the end, invite one or two pairs of students to act out their conversations to the class.3. Teaching 2a,2b These two parts are designed to provide students with listening and speaking practice using target language.(1) Ask students to look at the pictures and put forward a question: What are they doing?Listen to the tape and you will hear a boy and a girl talking to each other at a party. Then check the words you hear.Answers: quiet, outgoing, friendly(2) Ask students to read the conversation and jump the blank lines. Listen to the tape again and fill in the blanks with the words they hear.Step III Consolidation1. Make sentences with the adjectives in the box in2b2. Take out the pictures of you five years ago. And Write a short passage about your appearance as you are now and as you were five years ag
