Two questions: Do you have any school trip? What did you do on your school trip? How did you feel about it? Let ss become interested in the farming work. Step2: Learn new words.1.show the farming words by PPT. Teacher-lead to read Students-read in a row The right-the present tense leftthe past tense Make ss write down the present tense of these verbs. 2. exercises about these words. At the same time, find out three different rules to form the past tense. (group discussion) 构成规则原形过 去 式一般在动词原形末尾加-ed work play worked played结尾是e的动词加-d hope live hoped lived末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed stop trip stopped tripped结尾是“辅音字母+y”的动词,先变“y”为“ i”再加-ed study worry studiedworried2. remember the conclusion 动词一般过去时,表示过去发生事;be用was或用were, have, has变had;谓语动词过去式,过去时间坐标志;一般动词加-ed,若是特殊得硬记。否定句很简单,主语之后didnt添;疑问句也不难,did放在主语前;如果谓语之前有did,谓语动词需还原;动词若是was,were,否定就把not添。Step3: Do exercises 3a: Complete Jims letter on the left and Bills reply on the right. SS do it by themselves, then check the answer together.by PPTStep5: Homework: Remember the grammar focus.Reflection:在讲完conversation之后,直接讲grammar focus, 感觉好像知识脱节了。如果把处理对话中的第二步和第三步换个顺序,这样就会有一个联系与铺垫。先进行口语上的输出,完成调查的内容,再把对话中的动词的过去式找出来,写出意思,并写出其现在式,从中补充进一些本单元的重点单词,再让学生分组来讨论动词现在时变过去时的规律,从而让学生能够有深刻的印象。第三课时Teaching goals: Ss can know sth. about outdoor activities Ss can describe what did they on weekends.
