Knowledge objects:Enable Ss to master the dialogue of discussing weather.2. Ability objects:Enable students to talk about weather in English.3. Moral objects:Let Ss care for the weather and people around them , learn to take care of others.B. Teaching key points and difficult points:The key points: 1) Let Ss use the target language more fluently.2) Help students to review the Present Progressive tense.The difficult points: 1) The structure it self. 2) The difference between raining and rainy.2. Teaching methods and aids:In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method” , “TPR teaching method”, and so on.Ss will mainly use observation, imitation and practice methods to learn.Teaching aids: PPT and a video.3. Teaching procedures:Step 1.Warming-up -game time !Ill greet and talk with my Ss . Then, play a game with them to review and lead in the lesson. Eg: I say play ,you say playing ; I say singing, you say sing.Step 2.Lead-inI will say draw,Ss will say drawing. Then ask them :What am I doing? and draw the pictures of these five kinds of weather.Step3.Learning new words I will teach the Ss these new words. After that ,do a drilling to check their reaction of new words.Step4.Sing a chantLet Ss sing a weather chant with me to have a better memorizing of new words.Step5.Structure Teach Ss the new structure by pointing the pictures of the weather. Later, put some pictures of different cities on the screen to show the differences among these places.Step6.Pair work Ask the Ss to work in pairs to practice the conversation. Then ,invite some pairs to show theirs to class.Step7.Listening 1) Listen to 2a and put the activities in order.(Its easy for them.)2) Listen to 2b and match the person with their activities. (Its easy for them.)Step 8.Enjoy a videoPlay a video about target language that was recorded by me several days ago . And ask them 2 questions : (1) Hows the weather? (2) What is my uncle doing? After watching, Ss can easily answer them.Step 9.Group Work Let Ss work in group of 4 and make a conversation like this, but your own.Attention here:2 Ss talk and the other 2 act, they can choose what they are good at. 5 minutes later , invite 3 groups to show.Step10. Sum up Sum up the knowledge they learned during this period, especially the methods of changing n. into adj. .Step11. Moral Show the Ss a beautiful and say: I like sunny days , because I can play in the park. I like windy days , because I can fly a kite. I like rainy days, because I can sleep at home. . Anyway , if you are happy ,every day is a sunny day!Step12. Homework Write your own conversation like the video.(at least 10 sentences)4. Blackboard design:Unit 7 Its raining. weat
