Module2 Unit2Amy painted a picture.教学设计 本课时编写:合肥永和学校 段文哲 教材分析:本模块主要是学习如何用过去式描述已经过去了的一天。Unit2主要是讲述了Smart一家所有成员昨天所做的事情,以学习动词过去式为主,同时培养孩子们养成在家帮助父母做家务的好习惯。教学目标:1. Students learn to write something in past tense. 2. Students skills of reading, listening and communication will be improved.3. Students will cultivate their habits of helping their parents to do housework. 教学重难点:1. cook(cooked), paint(painted), watch (watched), noodles2. Mr Smart cooked noodles.3. “-ed”,the past tense of the verb4. Talking about families and their job fluently. 教学准备:Multimedia, cards, ppt, 教学过程:1. Warm-up 1) Read loudly: finished, washed, cleaned, helped, dirty, yesterday, paint, cookT: boys and girls, lets read these words together.Ss: ok.2) Play a game: ask & answer: what did you do yesterday?T: S1, what did you do yesterday?S1: I S2, what did you do yesterday?S2: I S3, what did you do yesterday?S3: 3) Activity1:listen, point and sayT: guys, look at the mother pig and the baby pig. What did they eat last Sunday? Lets listen.Play the CD-ROM.【设计意图】The game and words will draw students attention, make them ready for the class, and have a review on the knowledge of unit 1. Especially, the game will practice them with the sentence pattern “what did you do yesterday? I ”. 2. Presentation 1) Activity2. Listen and say.T: boys and girls, how many people are there in your family?Ss: there areT: but do you know how many people in Mr. Smarts family? Ss: five.T: maybe. Now, we will listen to the tape. Please listen carefully and tell me your answer.Play the CD-ROM.T: boys and girls, how many people in Mr. Smarts family?Ss: there are four people in Mr. Smarts family.T: very good, who are they? And what did they do yesterday? Look at the screen. There is a table for you. Next, we will listen to the tape again, and finish the table please.2) Listen again for detailed information. Play the CD-ROM again.Discuss and check the answer.Learn the word “phone” and “paint”.3) Listen again and read.Play the CD-ROM again, and read after it.T: boys and girls, now we will listen to the tape again. This time, please try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.【设计意图】This procedure is to learn the new text. The Task-based method is used to lead students to read the letter carefully and get information from the letter. Imitation and repeat will improve students pronunciation. 3. Practice 1) Role-play.Students will read the letter by group, or by role.2) Practice activity3 on page12.3) Activity 4. Listen, say, and chant.4) Play a game: mime guess.5) Activity 5. Draw and say.【设计意图】The new knowledge they have learned will be consolidated, and they will practice their skill of communication and expression.4.
