Greet the students as usual. 2. Enjoy a song and try to sing together.Step 2 Presentation 1. The teacher asks the Ss and shows the sentences(What are you doing ? Im listening to music.) on the Bb.The Ss answer and then read them together. 2. T:Then, what are we doing now? The Ss answer together. 3. T:Good job. Now, lets talk about what these people are doing. They are my neighbors. neighbors邻居们, neighbor邻居. We ive in the same apartments. We live in Happy Apartments. Lets talk about what they are doing. 4. Look at 1a. Give 1 minute to match the activities with the pictures. Learn the phrases first. 注意个别动词的现在分词形式及介词on。5. Invite Ss to check the answers like this: She is watching TV in picture i.Step3 Practice (8 mins)1. Look at the picture in 1a and do the pair-work like this: A: Look at Picture a. What is he doing?B: He is Look at Picture b. Is she ?A: Yes, she is./ No ,she isnt. She is 2. Invite the volunteers to present their conversations. Step 4 Listening practice. 1. T: These are my neighbors, and some of them are my friends. What are they doing? Listen and write the number from 1a.2. Check the answers: What is Jenny/ John doing? What are Dave and Mary doing? He/ Shes TheyreStep5 Guessing activities.1. Who is good at listening? Listen and guess what the people are doing?2. Who has sharp eyes? Invite some Ss to do some actions and the rest of the classmates guess what they are doing. The teacher makes an example first.Step6 Listening practice.1. Look at the picture, listen and write down the answers. Check the answers.(1)What is Steve doing?(2)What is Jack doing?2. Listen again and fill in the blanks in 2b.Check the answers.3.
