Unit 2 What time do you go to school?Period 3 Grammar Focus 3cTeaching and learning aims:一、功能:能就日常活动的时间进行问答二、语法:1.能正确运用what time 和 when引导的特殊疑问句2.掌握常见频度副词always, usually, often, sometimes, never基本用法3. 能正确区分一般现在时中不同人称对应的动词形式。三、词汇和常用表达:能正确使用best,group,on weekends并用动词短语、频度副词简单描述日常活动。四、文化知识:学会合理利用时间,用积极心态规划自己的生活学习。Teaching and Learning Steps:Step 1 Review 1. Review the activities in Period 1 according to the pictures. T: Do you remember the activities we learned yesterday? Who can tell us? Let the students revise the phrases.2. Can you ask and answer the questions according to the pictures? T: Please look at the pictures, ask and answer the questions.Step 2 语境中感知语法Ask students some questions, and have them try to answer using the complete sentences.【设计意图】先让学生自己观察,然后两人一组讨论上面的问题。采用归纳法学习语言形式;在操练的基础上归纳语言形式,在体验的基础上引导学生归纳,在教师引导下,鼓励学生有声思维。Step 3控制性机械练习 T: Talk about something you always do, Something you usually do, something you never do.Then give a model: Now, class, do you know what I always do at seven oclock in the morning? Do you want to know what time I usually go to bed? Can you guess what I never do on school days? OK, let me tell you. I always eat breakfast at seven oclock in the morning. I usually go to bed at ten thirty at night. I never watch TV on school day, because I dont have time for that.T: Now, Id like to know about you. Can you write something you always do, something you usually do, and something you never do? 【设计意图】充分利用课本资源,将本课3a和b作为当堂检测,通过检测学生的学习情况,真正落实以学定教。Step 4 开放性交际运用 3c Make a survey: T: Please work in groups of four, make a survey: What time/When does he/she do?Students work in groups, then give a report. The teacher reminds the students of using the complete sentences. After about four or five minutes, ask a few students to report the results of their interview to the whole class.
