Listening and speaking practice. X K2. .Autonomous and cooperative approach.Teaching Aids:CAI, A tape recorder.Teaching Procedure:Step 1 Warming-upSing an English song: Head ,Shoulder,Knee and Toe Step 2 Word study1. T:How many parts of the body can you name?Whats this ?(head ,mouth ,etc)Today well learn some parts of the body.2. Teach the parts of the body one by one by touching it. While teaching one, let them touch or show it.3 .Play a game: Touch the parts of your body1) Let the whole class touch the parts of their body when the teacher says: Touch your nose, Touch your eyes 2) Ask eight Ss to come to the front and do as the teacher tells them: Touch yourif one does wrong, let him or her go back, the last one who in the front is the winner. Step 3 Presentation and Practice1. 呈一些现关于疾病的图片,和同学们一起谈论它们。Present some pictures, talk about health problems of the persons in the pictures.-Whats the matter(with you)?-I have a stomachache/ headache/ toothache /a sore back/ a sore throat/a cold and a fever.3. Present other pictures,and talk about them . -Whats the matter(with him /her)?-I have a stomachache/ headache/ toothache/让学生和同伴根据图片结对操练这一句型 Let the Ss practice in pairsStep 4. Summarysore 是一个独立的形容词,指的是身体某一部位的酸痛。如sore back sore throat sore neck -ache 作后缀,常与表示身体部位的名词合成一个新的单词。表示身体某部位疼痛。如:headache,toothache, stomachacheStep 5 . Practice Show some pictures about illnesses ,and help Ss give proper advice. -What is the matter with him? -He has a stomachace. -What should he do ? -He should lie down and rest.展示出另外五副图片进一步操练以上句型并给出合理的建议。Step6.Give your advice创设情境1:I have a cold .What should I do?让学生给予不同的但合理的建议。You should stay in bed / wear warm clothes/ drink lots of water/ take some medicine/.情境2:He has a sore throat.What shouldnt he do? He shouldnt drink cold drink/ eat ice cream/ eat hot food/ talk too much/talk loudly/.Step 7.Pair work呈现一组关于疾病的图片,学生结对练习A:Whats the matter?=Whats wrong with?B: I/have.What should I do?A: You should叫几组学生向全班同学展示他们的对话。Step 8.Listening.Listen ,match the problems with the advice.(2a)Check the answers.Step 10 Role playWho is the best actor ? One student acts a doctor ,others act patients. Step11 Homework:1. Copy the new words in Period1.2.
