What kind of man is Hamlet ?We always heard of “There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand peoples eyes.” although we didnt really know who is Hamlet at that time. And when we grown up, we also very familiar with “To be or not to be,that is a question.”.When it comes to Hamlet, some people believe he is a real hero while others think he is just a crazy guy. Maybe no character in Shakespeares works has received more praise and criticism than Hamlet. Is Hamlet mad or not mad? I dont want to go into this question seriously, I just want to talk about what kind of man is Hamlet.To begin with, Hamlet is a humanist. Maybe at that time that quite a few people have unpleasant associations with the humanist. so he is a humanist who is suffering from contradictions in reality and the ideal. He used to full of hope, but the harsh and ugly of the reality life broke his beautiful ideal, and his humanist beliefs shattered. As a humanist ,his hesitations and depression during his revenge ,revealed the limitations of the early British bourgeoisie. But it is surely owing to the conflicts between the reality and the humanistic ideals makes the tragic of his life. It is also a introspection of the Renaissance and a concern of the next society from the author Shakespeare. Then,Hamlet is a real fighter. He is a hero with powerful militancy and fight with the dogma. He is disgusted at the hypocritical of the reality life and also hate all the people who is always only paying lip service around him. He could show his inner voice in front of the person he loves so bravely; he is proud of express his truly feelings. At that moment, he seems like a boy with his simpleness. In the Feudal Society, everybody is afraid to be the truly master of their heart, but our hero Hamlet did.Furthermore, Hamlet is a dutiful son. His unhappy was began not only with the death of his father but also with the remarriage of his mother. But he never think about to hurt his mother at all even his mother is rebelled against his father. Cause that is the woman who gave his boby and his life, he will never do that. He just couldnt let it go after his mother rebelled his father , it is also a result of his deepest love to his mother, while the chastity of a woman is the most precious treasure of their lives at that time.In the end, after saw his mother died of drink poison for him, he shout. he revenge for his parents. The dutiful son had already finished his revenge finally but the saddest thing is he has paid a heavy price.As far as I am concerned, Hamlet is a humanist, a real fighter for the dogma ,and a dutiful son of his father and mother.
