We are old enough to help our parents do some housework. Now please look at the pictures,and we will learn how to express them in English.Step 2 Presentation1. Watch the photos and talk about them “What does he do every day? and learn these phrases: do chores, do the dishes, make the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes, do the laundry, clean the living room.2. Look these phrases and practice the conversation: Could you please take out the rubbish? Sure. / Sorry, I cant. I have to finish homework first.3. Guess game: What chore is it?4,1a Do you do these chores at home? Discuss them with your partner.Step 3 Listening1b1 Read the instructions.2Point to the chart Show students the columns with the heading Mom and Peter? Say, Listen to the recording and check Mother or Peter.3Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Say, You will hear a conversation between Peter and his mom.4Play the recording a second time. This time ask students to check Mother or Peter. Check the answers.5 Play the recording a third time, fill in the blanks.Step 4. Pair work1c Point to the picture above.
