Review (复习)Use “used to” and “but now” to describe the following picturesLook at the pictures, find the differences, and try to describe them. eg.He used to be shy ,but now he is outing.He used to put toys on the ground , but now he put them in order.Step 3 Presentation (讲授)Activity 3aBefore you read Look at the photo, the questions in 3a and the title to the story on page 27. Then answer the questions below.1. Who is the young girl in the picture?2. What does the passage talk about?3. Does the writer think its easy to be a pop star?Ask some students to answer them.Read the article and then match each main idea with each paragraph. Paragraph 1-Cindys background. Paragraph 2-How Cindys life has changed. Paragraph 3-Cindys advice.Step 4 Practice (活动)Activity 3bLead students to read the instruction to know how to do this activity. Ask students to read the passage again to complete the sentences with the information from the article. Give them several minutes to finish this work individually.
