Greeting and communicating with students in English.3 Review the flashcards for Unit 5 and Unit 74. .Hold up the flashcard for park .Ask , “Whats this ?” Elicit. “ Its a park .”5. Repeat the procedure for movie theater , library, school ,train station , swimming pool and diary .6. Use the flashcards game to review some of the vocabulary from earlier Units .Ask children , “Whats this /What are these ?”or “What does (he )do?”7. Encourage the children to guess the word .Step 2. Talk together1. Talking with Ss in English:Turn to page 6. Ask, “ What is Sue saying ? Now read the words together .2. Point Davids speech bubble. Now read the words together .3. Divid the class into two groups : Sue and David .Have them repeat the diaiogue4. Work in pairs, practice the dialog.Substitute different days of the week and different activities from the diary .Step 3. Listen and matchListen to the tape and point to the correct pocture .Listen again and write sentence number next to the matching picture .3. Work in pairs. Act out.Step 4. Mikes week1. Turn to page 7 ,well read about a boys activities in week .2. Look at the picture and explain the picture of TV tower in Toronto ,Canada .3. Read the text about Mikes weekly activities by themselves4. Find out the word Monday. and complete the activities by asking “What does Mike do on Monday ?” Answering: “He goes to the library.”5.
