Encourage the students to ask and answer telephone numbers, try their best to tell us more about the important numbers in the daily life.四、Teaching aids: Multi-media五、Teaching procedures:Step1: GreetingStep2: Warm-up: Enjoy the song “Ten Little Indian Boys”. Step3:Lead-in: show them a circle, ask students to guess what is it?(Ask the students to imagine, these are the Possible answers: sun、 orange、 moon 、letter O、number zero etc.)Step4: Review the words,and then play a game to practice the numbers.Step5: Do some listening exercise about 0-9.Step6: Read the numbers to practice reading skills.Step7:Play a game ,girls PK boys, a person from each group take part in the game, read the number right and as fast as they can. Others listen; find out who is the best reader, why?Step8: Ask students to observe the numbers that they have read just now and then answer: “what kind of numbers they are?” From this way to lead in the word “telephone”, try my best to help them to spell the word.Step9: Showing them a picture of the word” number ”help them to read the two words as fast as they can. Then lead them to speak out the main sentence (I want to know your name, so I ask you “whats your name? Now I want to know your telephone number, what can I say?), then read the sentence or role-play the sentence. Step10:Introducing Lily and Frank, lead them to make their own conversation. Four minutes later, ask some of them to show their conversation in the front of the classroom. After they practice it, Ill give them some gifts.Step11:Doing some listening exercises about the main sentence and the number. Step12:Asking the students to contact life experience ,then speak out more and more important telephone numbers in our daily life. such as 119、120、110、121、12345.Step13:In addition to the phone number, there are many kinds of numbers in our lives, they make our lives colorful ,for example.
