英语(Go for it)八下期Unit 6 Section A 1a2c教学设计重庆复旦中学 胡虹一、教学内容分析 “Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.”的核心话题是讲述中国神话故事和西方童话故事。通过对故事的了解和学习,使学生能够学会讲述故事,在讲述过程中恰当使用连词,符合英语的语言逻辑习惯和表达;同时能更进一步地尝试演绎剧本。本节课的教学内容为Section A 1a2c,内容包含对神话故事的大致了解,听学生讲述愚公移山的故事,并对故事中的人物和情节发表简单的看法和观点。(一)、教学目标1. 知识目标:1). 识记本课所学单词,重要单词为remind,识记并运用常用表达:onceuponatime;2). 学会本单元的重要基本句型: How does the story begin? What happened next? What do you think of the story of Yu Gong?; 3). 学会在叙述故事中运用assoonas,unless,sothat等连词,能借助how,what,who,why等引导的疑问句完成故事的叙述。2. 能力目标: 流利、正确、富有感情地用英语讲述故事。3. 情感态度价值观: 1). 看待问题表达观点要富有正能量,要积极向上;2). 对他人的不同观点和意见学会批判的吸收。4. 教学重点及难点: 1). 重点:如何运用英语语言知识讲故事。2). 难点:学会表达故事中的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法或观点;努力学习理解故事中所蕴含的哲理。二、教学设计过程Hello, boys and girls! Everyone likes stories. Some like listening to the stories, like little kids. They always listen to the bedtime stories before going to bed. Some prefer telling stories, such as parents or teachers. And some enjoy writing stories, for example, J.K.Rowling wrote a series of novels Harry Pottery. First, lets get to know the origin of story. There are many kinds of stories, such as folk story, history story, legend, fairy tale and myth. BaiShe Zhuan and Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai are folk stories. Wan Bi Gui Zhao and Fu Jin Qing Zui are history stories. As for fairy tales, our parents have told us so many, like Ma Liang with a magic brush, Xiao Ma Guo He, and so on. What is myth? The myth is imaginative. The myth reflects the desire of man to conquer nature. The myth reflects the pursuit of better future.What myths have you ever heard? Chinese myths play a very important role in the Chinese culture. Today, lets listen to a Chinese myth. If you hear the name of the story, pleases tell us as soon as possible.Have you heard the story? Id like you to tell the story in English to your group members. Others could add the details or show their opinions. 5 minutes.Who wants to tell the story for us? (Choose 1 students to tell it.)Lets listen to the story which Wang Ming is telling. There are 4 steps to tell a story. First, how does the story begin. Second, what happened next? Third, what happened finally. And the last step, I will show you after you listen to the story. Pay attention to the steps while you are listening and filling in the blanks.What main characters are there in the story? What do you think of Yu Gong/ Zhi Sou/ this story? What does Wang Ming think of this story? Listen and fill in the blanks. We share our opinions of the story in our class. When were telling stories, we cant help expressing our views. So, the fourth step of telling stories is to show or share your views or opinions to others.Everyone has his own opinion. There are many sides to a story and many ways to understand it. Summary: How to tell a story?If our story has a good beginning, a wonderful plot and a good ending, could we say we can tell a story well. That isnt enough. Lets listen to the story again.
