Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to raise the Ss learning interests. This section is the second part of this unit. In this lesson, the main point is to help Ss master the several books names of the main subjects in school and put them into the sentences “Whatsin your ?”and “Put your” correctly in communication activities. And meanwhile, Ss will learn more about tidying up.II. The analysis of the students:As English learners in Grade 4, they need lots of language inputs, like stories,cartoons and pictures to help them understand many words and some difficult sentences. And besides, games and various activities can arise their strong interest and confidence in studying English. III. Teaching aims and demands:By the end of this lesson, the students will be able toA. Ability aims: 1. Look at pictures and choose the right word to fill in the blanks.2. Use the sentences patterns “Whats in?” and “Put your”to ask about some stationeries or something else. 3. Waken up more awarenesse to tidying up or housework.B. Knowledge aims: 1. Ss can understand and say the new words: Chinese book, English book, maths book and storybook . 2. Ss can understand the stories very well and use the new words above in the sentence pattern - “ Whats in ?” and “Put in/on/under/near” very well . C. Emotional aims: Ss can get to know howmeaningful to tidy up and do housework for ones living or daily life .IV. Teaching key and difficult points:A. Teaching key points: 1. Use the three words“books” very well in the dialog activities. 2. Get more ideasfrom the stories.B. Teaching difficult points: 1. Chant the nursery rhymes fluently in the book. 2. Use the sentences appropriately in real situation.V. Teaching methods: Communicative Approach, TPR, Stories, Situational Approach, Multimedia Approach.VI. Teaching time: 40 minutesVII.
