Unit 6 An Old Man Tried to Move the Mountains(Section A 1a2c)枣庄十五中房琳琳Analysis of teaching material:本部分内容主题是中国民间神话故事。主题图呈现了女娲补天、后羿射日、大闹天空、愚公移山四个家喻户晓的故事。本课以愚公移山为主线要求学生能够听懂并叙述这则故事,并根据故事相关信息发表观点、运用语言。Analysis of students:虽然有尖子生,中等生是全班学生的主力军,差生也有。因此当前要下大力气培养尖子生,树立榜样作用。重视中游学生,调动他们的积极性,不仅教会他们知识,更要提高他们的能力。带动下游学生,减少差生,善于发现他们身上的闪光点,予以表扬,增强其自信心,鼓励他们在原有的基础上不断进步。Teaching and learning goals:1.能够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续等,能够对故事中的人物或情节发表一些简单的看法或观点。2.引导学生根据人物对白总结故事情节要点,且根据故事情节发展尝试用自己的语言讲述故事。3.在学习和生活中,当面对困难时,要凭借自己的力量,持之以恒,勇敢的克服困难,绝不放弃。Teaching procedureStep1:Preview and presentation1.射击; 发射 _(过去式)_ 2. 石头 _ 3.虚弱的;无力的_ 4.神,上帝 _ 5.提醒,使想起_ 6. 一点;小块 _7.愚蠢的;不明事理的 _8.有点儿;稍微_ 9.代替;反而_(课前让学生对本节课进行了预习,尤其是对基本单词和一些重要单词的用法,课上展示预习成果。)Step2: Leading-inTask1:Show students some foreign fairy tales.Then show students some Chinese fairy tales.(图片导入激发学生学习兴趣,提高学习效率。)Task2: Activity 1b Match the story titles with the pictures.Which one do you like best?Can you tell them in English? (紧紧承接上个任务;提出的两个问题引领学生听听力以便为了学习叙述故事。)Task3:Activity 1cListen and check () the facts you hear. Which story are Anna and Wang Ming talking about? _ The two mountains were very high and big._ A very old man tried to move the mountains._ A man told Yu Gong that he could never do it.(听听力,以此学习故事前半部分的叙述。)Step3: CooperationAnswer the questions by filling the blanks 1. (通过排序听后半部分故事大意,为下个任务做铺垫。)Task 2: 2b Listen again and circle the words you hear. 1. A man saw Yu Gong and his (children / family) when they were working on moving the mountains.2. He told Yu Gong he could never do it because he was old and (poor / weak).3. As soon as the man finished (talking / speaking), Yu Gong said that his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.4. Finally, a god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent (two / three) gods to take the mountains away.5. Anything is possible if we work hard! We should never give up!Step5: Test用括号内单词的适当形式填空或根据句意选用所学适当短语完成句子。 1. Yu Gong found a good way _ (solve) the problem.2. (当堂检测所学知识,教师得到一些反馈,对下一步的教学做出调整。)本课的亮点如下: 1. 在本课的导入部分我通过多媒体展示了部分神话故事的图片,充分调动学生的学习主动性及积极性,注意运用图片来练习听说,一方面学生有话可说,另一方面,在听力时,学生能很快地把握主要内容理解故事。 2. 注意保护学生的学习积极性和主动参与的热情,借助结对练习、小组讨论等教学环节,最大限度地调动、吸引学生的注意力,营造宽松,愉悦的学习气氛。不断创设情境让学生参与,积极肯定地评价学生的课堂表现,表现优秀和进步的学生及时给予表扬,表现不好的学生也适当给予鼓励。 3. 注重知识点的讲解,听说的主要是听说,但知识点的讲解也必不可少。 4. 为了使学生通过本节课的学习能够用英语叙述愚公移山的故事,整个
