Movement of the FOHE mounts due to wear allows the fuel tubes to move excessively within the clipping points. This has resulted in excessive wear of the rubber section of the P-Clips, and the subsequent frettage between the exposed metal band and the fuel tubes. The frettage reduces the fuel tube outer wall thickness, leading to fracture of the fuel tube and the consequent fuel leak. This may cause the leakage of significant amounts of fuel and can cause IFSD and diversion events. There has been a fuel leakage event among global fleet due to the frettage between the Clip CP4881 and the fuel tube. THE FUEL IS POISONOUS AND CAN BE ABSORBED INTO YOUR BODY.注 意: 为减小由于维护不当所造成的双发同时空停、失去动力或工作异常的风险,特建议工作者不要在同一时段内对同一架飞机的两台发动机进行维护工作,若上述情况无法避免,应采取相应的控制措施以保证工作者严格按照此EO的要求来完成维护工作。CAUTION: IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE POTENTIAL FOR MULTIPLE ENGINE IN-FLIGHT SHUT DOWN, POWER LOSS, OR OTHER ANOMALY DUE TO MAINTENANCE ERROR, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT OPERATORS AVOID PERFORMING MAINTENANCE ON MULTIPLE ENGINES INSTALLED ON THE SAME AIRCRAFT AT THE SAME TIME. IF IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO AVOID MAINTENANCE ON MORE THAN ONE ENGINE AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ADDITIONAL CONTROLS ARE APPLIED IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT MAINTENANCE TASKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AS DEFINED IN THIS EO.注 意:不能让燃油溅落至发动机上,燃油会对发动机表面保护层和部分发动机部件造成损伤,若发生燃油溅落应立即用干净不起毛的布进行清洁。CAUTION: YOU MUST NOT LET ENGINE FUEL FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED FUEL MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT-FREE CLOTH. THE FUEL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND TO SOME PARTS.施工说明概述:本EO要求检查P型卡子CP4881及其固定支架。General Instruction: Inspect the P-clip CP4881 and the bracket supporting the P-clip CP4881.(1) 接近/Get access (a) 参考AMM 71-13-00,打开风扇整流罩。Open the fan cowl doors; refer to AMM 71-13-00. (b) 在位放置合适的工作梯。Put suitable access platform into a safe position. (2) 在位目视检查卡子CP4881和卡子的固定支架。参考图1、图2和图3,卡子CP4881位于FOHE和高压燃油泵之间的上段燃油管(P/N FW53576)。Visually inspect without removing any parts, the upper most clipstack (CP4881) on the FOHE to HP fuel pump fuel pipe upper section (FW53576) and the bracket that this P-clip is attached to for damage. Refer to Fig.1, Fig.2 and Fig.3.注 意:如果旧卡子被拆下,只允许装回新卡子,不允许装回旧卡子。CAUTION: If one or more P-clips are removed then refit using only new P-clips, do not refit previously installed P-clips.(a) 参考图3a,目视检查卡子上与螺栓(P/N AS48409)相连接部分金属条是否开裂或断裂。Visually check this clip for obvious evidence that the visible metal bands through which the bolt (AS48409) is inserted are cracked or fractured. Refer to Fig.3a.(i) 如果卡子检查正常:保持卡子原状,转到后续步骤(b)。If the clip is not cracked - Do not disturb the assembly, go to the following step (b).(ii) 如果发现卡子金属条开裂或断裂:拆下卡子并按后续步骤(c)中的损伤标准检查燃油管。If the clip is cracked/fractured remove the clip and inspect the fuel tube in accordance with the following step (c).1) 如果燃油管检查超标,按AMM 70-12-01更换燃油管。If the fuel tube is found to be unserviceable, remove and replace fuel tube(s) in accordance with AMM 70-12-01.(b) 参考图3b,目视检查支架(P/N FW26692)是否存在磨损或损伤,需特别留意检查卡子CP4881的螺栓附近区域。Visually check the bracket (FW26692) for obvious evidence of wear or damage, specifically check that the P-clip (CP4881) bolt area is in good condition. Refer to Fig.3b.(i) 如果支架检查正常:保持支架原状,转到后续步骤(3)。If the bracket is not cracked - Do not disturb the assembly, go to the following step (3).(ii) 如果支架开裂或断裂:更换支架并按后续步骤(c)中的损伤标准检查燃油管。如果卡子检查正常,可以保留100FH再完成此步骤。If the bracket is cracked/fractured remove and replace the bracket and inspect the fuel tube in accordance with the following step (c). This may be carried out within the next 100 operating hours if the clip is not damaged.1) 如果燃油管检查超标,按AMM 70-12-01更换燃油管。If the fuel tube is found to be unserviceable, remove and replace fuel tube(s) in accordance with AMM 70-12-01.(c) 燃油管路检查及报废标准Fuel tube acceptance and rejection criteria: 卡子位置处的外侧管壁磨损深度超过0.2mm(0.008 in.)。Contact frettage under clip location to a depth of greater than 0.2 mm (0.008 in.).报废Reject注 释NOTE: 1. 对于在燃油管上发现的其它损伤,按AMM中的损伤标准处理(Ref to AMM TASK73-11-00-200-801)。Use AMM Limits for any other damage on the tube (Ref to AMM TASK73-11-00-200-801). 2. 特别注意检查燃油管所有外露表面,如果某些区域无法直接观察,则需要使用反光镜。Take particular care to inspect the entire exposed surface of the tube, a mirror may be used in areas where direct line of sight access is difficult.(d) 如果卡子或燃油管检查超标,不装回旧卡子,按AMM 70-12-01更换新的卡子。卡子安装信息参考图3。If a clip or fuel tube is rejected, do not refit this old clip, replace with new in accordance with AMM 70-12-01. Refer to Fig.3 for clipping point details. 螺栓AS48409的磅紧力矩为4.5 Nm (40 lbfin)。The torque value of bolt AS48409 is 4.5 Nm (40 lbfin).(e) 如果燃油管检查超标,按AMM 70-12-01进行更换。燃油管和P型夹安装信息参考图1、图2和图3。If a fuel tube is rejected, remove and replace it in accordance with AMM 70-12-01. Refer to Fig.1, Fig.2 and Fig.3 for tube and clipping point details.螺栓BLT5529的磅紧力矩为11.5 Nm (100 lbfin)。The torque value of bolt BLT5529 is 11.5 Nm (100 lbfin).螺栓AS48515的磅紧力矩为11.5 Nm (100 lbfin)。The torque value of bolt AS48515 is 11.5 Nm (100 lbfin).注 释:在拆下P型夹时需检查P型夹是否严重松脱或安装过紧,导致燃油管路位置得不到良好固定或存在过大安装应力。按需拆下周围的P型夹并尽量减小管路的安装应力。并填写反馈表格,记录发现的问题。NOTE: During removal of the clips look for any significant relaxation of strain that suggests poor alignment of the tubes and stressing of certain clipping positions. If necessary loosen adjacent clips and carefully manipulate the tube alignment to minimise any strain in the system. Make a note on the Feedback Form if alignment issues are seen.(3) 按AMM 71-13-00关闭发动机风扇整流罩。Close the fan cowl doors, refer to AMM 71-13-00.撤除工作梯。Remove the access platform.(4) 若更换了燃油管,按AMM 71-00-00, Test No.2, The Fuel and Oil Leak Test执行渗漏测试。If any fuel tube was replaced then do a fuel and oil leak test in accordance with AMM 71-00-00, Test No.2, The Fuel and Oil Leak Test(5) Fill Feedback Form填写技术文件反馈单图1 燃油管布局Fig. 1 General Fuel Tube Arrangement图2 燃油管FW53577和FW53576布局Fig. 2 Arrangement of Fuel Tubes FW53577 and FW
