You _ have stayed up late last night.(4) You _ have written with a pen, not a pencil.Yes, I know I _ have, but I had no pen to write with.(5) I _ have come to your party, but I was busy preparing my speech.(6) Your home is not far away from school, so you _ not have left in such a hurry.Step3 Conclusion小结:1.“情态动词+have done”表示猜测和估计(1) must have done 表示对过去的肯定猜测。 e.g. It must have rained last night because the ground was wet .(2) may/might have done 也是对过去猜测,语气没有must强烈。e.g. The students may have done their exercises yesterday .They might have read about it in the papers.(3) can/could have done 表示过去本来能够做某事但实际未做;e.g. She could have done better. 她本来可以做的更好的。cant/couldnt have done 表示不可能做过某事,即对过去的否定推测e.g. He cant have finished the work so soon.2.“情态动词+have done”形式表示虚拟,表示说话人后悔、遗憾、责备的语气。(1) should/ought to have done 表示过去本该做某事而没有 e.g.You should have studied harder. 1. We should have arrived (本应该到达) at lunchtime but our flight was late.(2) shouldnt/oughtnt to have done 表示过去不该做某事却做 e.g.You shouldnt have done that. 2. Mark neednt have hurried (本不需要着急). After running all the way, he arrived ten minutes early.(3) neednt have done 表示本不必要做的事情却做 e.g. You neednt have brought so much wine.(4) would rather have done 表示过去本想做某事却未能做e.g. I would rather have come to your party, but I was busy preparing my speech.3. ought to, must和have to 的区别must 强调主观看法have to 强调客观需要ought to 表示义务责任4. must与ought to表示推测时的区别must 语气肯定ought to 语气不肯定5.should+动词原形,表示(1)应该 eg. 你应该今天完成任务 You should
