Do you like to share your driveway in front of your garage with others? Both of these can help you make money. Many people are benefiting from this new business of renting.Perhaps the best-known example of a company in this field is Airbnb an American web business which allows you to rent out your spare room to holiday makers. It says it operates in 34,000 cities and it has 800,000 listings of rooms and apartments. They seem to have occupied the majority of the market.A British company is doing something with parking spaces. JustParks founder, Anthony Eskinazi, says, “when I had the original idea, I spotted a driveway close to a sports stadium. I would have been so convenient if I could have just parked in that driveway rather than in a commercial car park.” And his great idea has proved a success. Around 20,000 people have advertised their spaces on the website, and he says around half a million drivers use it.But the new business of renting has its competitors. They are people who run things like traditional hotels and commercial car parks. They are afraid of ending up losing money. And there is another problem. Regulations for these new businesses are unclear. How will renting out you driveway affect your neighbor? Because this is a new business world, those rules arent there yet. Different people feel stress in different ways. Some ways of dealing with stresslike screaming or hitting someone-dont solve(解决)much. But other ways, like talking to someone you trust, can lead you to solving your problem or at least feeling better.Try taking these four steps the next time you are stressed:(1)Get support. When you need help, reach out to the people who care about you. Talk to a trusted adult, such as a parent or other relatives. And dont forget about your friends. They might have had similar problems, such as dealing with a test, or the death of a beloved pet.(2)Dont take it out on yourself. Sometimes when kids are stressed and upset they take it out on themselves. Oh, dear, thats not a good idea. Remember that there are always people to help you. Dont take it out on yourself. Ask for a helping hand to get you through the tough situation.(3)Try to solve the problem. After youre calm and you have support from adults and friends, its time to get down to business. You need to figure out what the problem is. Even if you cant solve it all, you can solve a piece of it.(4)Be positive. Most stress is temporary(暂时的). Remember stress does go away, especially when you figure out the problem and start working on solving it.These steps arent magic, but they do work.
